Victor Hotel's rooms are very small but they're clear and confortable.
the relationship between price/quality it's very good.
It's right for your holiday because the hotel is near to underground, a bus to airport and ten minutes on footto Buckingham Palace.
The staff isn't competent sometimes

Personale gentilissimo e disponibile, stanze molto pulite, colazione abbondante di tipo continentale. Unico problema: scale ripide e strette e mancanza di ascensore.

This hotel has more rooms than it does dining tables, and after fifteen minutes of waiting in a narrow hallway and passed by a silent waitress at least four times I gave up on breakfast. I did't bother calling the next morning. Breakfast was included in the price.

L'Hotel è situato in ottima posizione.

The Victor Hotel is located optimally near Victoria station (10 min walk, buckingam palace and Westminster.
The rooms are very little, but clean and quiet. No lift represent a difficult with the luggage.
We stay in hotel just to sleep, and in this case the hotel it is sufficient.
The price is convenient and we are satisfied.

Personale cordiale e disponibile.

Convenient to Victoria station and, therefore, adequate for a one night layover. Quite a few restaurants and pubs within a few blocks. However the room was small - barely enough space to open two small suitcases. While it was cool outside (20C/68F) our room on the second floor was hot as the window didn't open. The sheets were clean but the blanket was stained. The thinnest pillows I have ever seen! Bathroom was clean. At the start of our trip we stayed in the Earl's Court area and that room was a better value for the money. This was adequate for an overnight layover.

THE HOTEL OCCUPIES A PERFECT SITE BETWEEN VICTORIA AND PIMLICO.
BUS AND UNDERGROUND GIVE A LOT OF OPPORTUNITIES.
GOOD RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PRICE/QUALITY.
BREAKFAST IS ALL RIGHT.
YOU MUST BE LUCKY NOT TO BE GIVEN A 4TH FLOOR ROOM:THERE'NO ELEVATOR AND STAIRS ARE VERY IMPRESSIVE.
ANYWAY, THE HOTEL IS OK!

Hotel is about 10 mins walk from Victoria station, if you are coming in via the tube head towards the signs for the rail station otherwise you will have to walk around the building!
Hotel itself is clean. The building & reception areas are very nice, the staff that we met were very friendly and helpful. Our 2 two rooms were at the front and were noisy the windows are NOT double glazed and with a busy road outside until at least 2am it may keep you awake or the mattress will as it was very firm! Other than that the rooms & bathrooms were clean.

I had a great time at this hotel. I stayed in a single room. The only problem was the traffic noise. The bus kept coming by every 10 mins which didn't help me sleep well.
Great bar near the hotel -- forgot its name, but friendly people there!

El hotel está muy bien. Buena zona.

In four weeks of travelling Europe, this was the worst.
One receptionist was confused by the smallest greeting, while the other was very capable and kind.
The wallpaper in our room (#1) was peeling in huge strips from cracked walls. Graffiti decorated the remaining wallpaper. The ceiling had suspicious stains.
There was no space to turn around- if two people were in the room, one had to sit on the bed and raise their feet for the other to pass. The shower was so tiny you nearly had to get out to retrive what you had dropped (I am only five feet tall with small/medium build!). There was a trick to flushing the toilet as the handle and tank did not work properly. The room was hot and stuffy with the window open and fan on all hours. Five minutes before breakfast was over, I could not get a cup of coffee- kitchen man seemed extra-gleeful in his refusal. We did have a reading lamp.
I found much better deals in Bayswater- worth the tube trip or cab rides for the comfort of a recently- graded three-star. (In what decade did the Victor get 3 stars?!?)

We stayed for three days at the Victor hotel. Impressive old city mansions along this quiet street, nice surroundings, very friendly employees, not to far to the next subway station. All in all, we liked it very much.

I will never again stay at Victor Hotel. Really, cheap does not mean good, I have to think always about it. Rooms stinks with cigarette smoke as no separate non-smoking rooms. Rooms look gloomy. The bed was just awful - probably the cheapest type of bed you can find in the whole UK. Breakfast is included, but it was a queue to a dining room in the morning, and I did not have any breakfast as felt stupid to queue. In the web guidance it was written: the nearest station is Victoria, which is not true - it is Pimlico, which is 3-5 minutes of walk. For my taste the hotel was too far from civilization, the area rather reminded me of residential area. The receptionists were quite good except for one (a woman looking as Armenian or Gypsy, sorry, no names provided - this is also a minus btw - that is why I have to refer to how she looked like). I could not open the room and had to ask her to come up with me - she showed me how unhappy she was and was quite rude with me. Really, London in general is spoilt with the number of tourists coming. And some hotels may afford providing poor service. Really, two night I stayed there were not enjoyable at all.
Never ever again I will stay at Victor Hotel and needless to say would not recommend it to my friends!

There is no elevasator in this hotel-this should be mentioned, so people with baggage can request rooms on lower floors.
Also, this hotel is permeated with the odor of cigarette smoke.

in the allocated stuffy attic room i was unable to open the window.when the second member of staff eventually opened the window,it was very cold.there were mouldy markes down the wall behined the t.v.it was noisey. After complaining i was offered another room for two nights.i had to move into another room for the third and last night.these moves involved going up and down numerous stairs.Having had surgery to both hips i felt exhausted and no help was offered. the breakfast was just satisfactory.suspicious looking boxes were visible under the breakfast table ?for catching mice.

This a great hotel in a great area. Very safe too. Smack dab in the middle of one of the best areas in Central London.
Only ONE BIG flaw, and this applies to many hotels I have visited. The lighting in the rooms is terrible and there are NO reading lamps. Almost all travellers want to read in bed, so why are there no reading lamps. This is so important and truly a complete mystery as to why hotel proprietors do not take action. It is not expensive at all to install good reading lamps.
Apart from that this hotel is great value for money, even the breakfast was fine for the price.

The Victor Hotel is exactly as described. The staff is friendly and the hotel is a great bargain for this part of London. Would definitely recommend or stay again. Could not rate hotel well on noise because there was sidewalk construction the whole time we stayed -not in their control - but we actually stayed 11 days.
