La location è comoda sia per business che per turismo, ma l'hotel è decisamente più adatto ad un paio di notti business; manca di un po' di fascino, pur senza alcuna carenza, ed anche la zona di accesso offre poche emozioni, nemmeno quelle di una tipica strada londinese, essendo in un contesto moderno ed un po' anonimo. Servizio impeccabile, stanze adeguate, giusto controvalore (per Londra).

We were upgraded from a double room to a suite (presumably because of demand for doubles), but the bathroom had two plumbing problems: a slow-draining sink and a tub spout that needed fixing. (The elaborate rain, hand, and side shower heads worked fine, though.) Still, the staff were welcoming, the room was comfortable, and the location was perfect: right across the street from Victoria Station, making it easy to catch the Gatwick Express the next morning. (My wife and I like the Victoria area; we usually dine at the Nando Portuguese chicken restaurant, have breakfast at Starbucks, and pick up lunch at the Paul French bakery kiosk in Victoria before heading for the airport.)

I stayed with my boyfriend at Hesperia Victoria for 3 days and i can tell it was a very pleasant stay. The room was really clean and nicely decorated, with new installations and full of comfortabilities (big bath, lcd TV, mini bar, etc.). The staff was correct as well. To tell something not that good I would say that they didn't change sheets during our stay (they did change towels). And I think that price is very expensive for a 4 star hotel. But I can assure that I travel quite often to London and this was the most pleasant stay by far.

Great hotel to stay for sightseeing around London.Just remember if arriving via Victoria Station DO NOT exit until you passby a Marks & Spencers simply food near PLATFORM ONE the hotel is just across the road.For a first visit to London it was really close by to alot of tourist attractions we did not get lost.Did not try the hotel's breakfast to costly at £15.00 per person went behind the hotel, across the road from the apollo theatre for breakfast at around £3.50 each.It is a great situation for going to some shows like Wicked or Billy Elliott just close by.I would not like to pay the actual hotel rates for the room but great value through venere.com (Thank you)I would recommend this hotel for being lovely, clean and comfortable for a short break to the city.

The only thing was our window looked over the railroad station which would have been fine but there was dumpsters with all kind of trash laying around.

La propreté de la chambre laisse à désirer (taches de liquide sur la table de nuit, cache sommier taché et déchiré, tasses à café avec des traces restantes). Un pied du lit était cassé ainsi qu'une lampe de chevet et le sèche cheveux inutilisable! Le robinet de la baignoire m'est resté dans la main à son ouverture. 45 min pour obtenir 2 peignoirs ... Enfin qu'à cela ne tienne ,le Manager nous a octroyé 2 petits déjeuners! Tout le personnel est fort sympatique mais évitez la chambre 710...

The hotel's location directly behind Victoria Station makes making connections easy. The downside is you can hear the trains. On the other side of the hotel is a massive construction site which also is noisy during the day.

Good, sterile hotel. Excellent for overnights before Gatwick morning departures - just across the street from a side entrance to Victoria station, and a few steps away from Gatiwck Express. The only disadvantage - lousy, run down fitness/pool area, but this is not quite the most necessary when one stays a single night. Recommended!

Lovely hotel, but if you pay a discounted rate don't think the room you're going to get will be anything like it is on the photos! I've stayed here before and noticed a huge difference between types of rooms. The first time I had a beautiful room. The second time I paid a discounted rate and could hardly believe the room I got was in the same hotel!
