We were not in Annexe Hotel, but in Cedar Guests, just a few meters next. It's because i called earlier to have a room on the street side, and not on the underground side. Thanks to that, our romm was quiet, the sheets were clean, the shower was hot: enough to stay for 2 nights... Breakfast was good, but the staff wasn't very friendly.
very well located.

i didnt actually stay in annexe was put in the one next door the alexander house apart from being at top of hotel the room was a good size. the ensuite was small but aticuate i would stay here again the location was excellent walking distance from all the major attractions and less than 3 mins away from wicked and billy elliot theatres. only thing i would say would be better is if they gave u a choice of cerel in morning we had cheap cornflakes and toast

It's quite nice hotel and his location make it perfect for late arrival nearby Victoria Station in night.
Rooms are basic and clean enough (mind you are in London, Uk!).
It's good for young couple or singles with not big pretendings, but that want to find a cosy nice place to sleep.

it's nice and cheap. it has a godd breakfast and little but comfortably room. but it' too much near the station and trains pass for all night. there are better hotels in this zone but for one or two night it's possible stay here

Well, as many other guests I booked a double room at the Annexe and found myself in one of the close hotels. That was not a big change I guess, they all look old, tiny and dirty.
Our room was too small. I read many reviews before going there and I thought I was ready to accept a small room, but I really didn't immagine such a small toilet. My boyfriend had to open the door when brushing his teeth 'coz otherwise he couldn't fit in the toilet. Very obsolete furniture and dirty carpet.
Staff was not bad, almost all south asian, except for the housekeeper. When we arrived we found her cleaning a room and in the corridor the clean bed sheets and towels on the floor...not very welcoming!
I know hotels in London are horrible, but I guess next time I have to stay there I will spend some extra pounds trying to avoid this kind of accomodation (that is not so cheap for what they offer!).

The Hotel is near the Victoria Station, there you have evething, Stores, Markets, Theathers, Metro, and Buckingham Road that is a very important Street in London. The Continental breakfast is good. The Buckinghan Palace is at 20 minutes waking. If I go to London I will stay there again.

I think the best the hotel has is were is located. My room (single) was too much noise every night because Victoria Station. But the most important thing in a hotel is cleanliness of the room the bed, blanket, the bath room, etc. They have to pay more atenttion to that, and also the rooms doors dont have extra loock
so I feel not so secure. Thats is important too.

Estamos mi esposa y yo agradecidos.

First I have to say that we booked a room in Annexe but were sent to Alexander ( some houses further) .It was great to have a hotel so close to the very center. But I was schoked about so small room , about syntethic smell in rooms ( by the way very strong one) , about lack of toilet paer in a public toilet ( as there was no toilet and shower in a room) . I didn't use a public shower because it was very small and there was no place where to leave clothes when you are in shower. But I enjoyed a stay so close to the center as I spent whole day outside and in a hotel just spent a night ,i.e. slept .

I ordered a single room in Annexe but was allocated an en-suite family room in the basement(with three beds)in Alexander. I am happy coz it is quite big and I have my own bathroom. But I can hear the sound of the underground, it is not so noisy though. Overall it is ok.

I was booked into The Annex but ended up staying at The Holly Hotel which is run by the same people. I read other peoples reviews for both hotels before I booked, yes they are right the bedrooms and bathrooms are very small and yes it can be noisey with the trains, but the truth is its a no frills cheap budget b and b in central London 5 mins from Victoria Station, would I stay here again, YES

ROOMS WERE SMALL, AND HOTEL WAS OLD AND NEEDED UPDATING.
HAD SMALL TV (NO CABLE) WITH A SMALL REFRIGERATOR.
LOCATION WAS GREAT, SHORT WALK TO VICTORIA COACH STATION, AND VICTORIA TRAIN STATION, WITH LUGGAGE.
EASY WALK TO HOP-ON, HOP-OFF BUS, AND BUCKINGHAM PALACE.
PRICE WAS FAIR COMPARED TO OTHER HOTELS IN THAT AREA.

Room was quite small, no place to moove around or put suitcas, exactelly like a cage. It is beside the railway station so it is very noisy. You have to wait for eating breakfast because it is a little restaurante with few tables. The room was not clean. but it is in te heart of London. It is possible to walk around to all the turist attractions in the city.

When we first arrived, at 00:30 the recepcionist told us we wouldn't have the two double rooms we had booked, we had to be in a familiar room or there was no place. As it was so late, we agreed but we didn't like that having booked more than six months ago, they didn't have the rooms. The hotel was seedy and the breakfast also but as we didn't go to the hotel to sleep, it was bearable. The most important thing for us was that it is really good located.

I went to London, that time for holidays, although I went there many times before. It was the first time we stay at the hotel. We stayed at the Hotel for 4 days. The hotel is very close to the Victoria station. It´s very well located, just 5 minutes to buckinham palace and well connected by train, coach, tube ... People at the recepcion were not very kind, but they helped us anyway. The breakfast is served in the basement of the hotel, so you have to go outside to have breakfast. It´s a small place, with just four or five tables, so you must wake up early to take a seat. Our room was quite nice, but we met some people there, and not all the rooms are the same. The best ones are in the upper floors, were we slept. The others are very very small, with no place even to put your suitcase. The hotel is very very cleaned. They cleaned the room every morning when we went out, and they change the linen and the towels everyday. We have three new towels every morning. the only problem with the room was the bathroom. It was inside the room, and it was too small, but in fact it was enough. They have lots of information about things to do in the city, and you can always ask them. Last they, we should leave the room before 11.00 o´clock, but our coach to the airport was at 23.ooh, so I asked them to leave my suitcase there to keep it save, and they were very nice and offered to keep it there. I will go again to that same hotel next time, even if the room is small...

Good overall, however when I asked for a hairdryer, they had none left at reception. Apparently they only have 3 or 4 for over fifty rooms! Not great as I had to wash my hair before going to bed and wrap it in a towel so it was dry for the morning.

When we came to the hotel we were told that they have had some problems with the rooms and they had tryed to call us to inform us about it. This was not true - they had not tryed to call us. We had to spend the first night at a nearby hotel, that was of even worse standard. The second night we spend in the hotel booked online, the absolut smallest room I have ever seen and with trains (metro and train) right outside the window.

This is a modest hotel at a modest price (actually booking ahead resulted in a lower price than that quoted in the lobby). Just two minutes from Victoria Station and the Gatwick Express.
The Annex is one of four or five small hotels in a row under the same management. and I booked in at the Holly and stayed at the Alexander.
One disappointment was instant coffee crystals provided with a jug of hot water at the "continental breakfast" (cereal and toast).

When we arrive they haven't free the rooms we have reserved (three double), and we had to stay in two triple, but in separate hotels. Our room had a very disgusting noise (perhaps dumps). It was difficult to pay with credit card. The only good thing: the location when you arrive form the airport to Victoria station. I don't think we'll repeat the experience.

Railway trains!!! All Hugh street's hotels are very, very close to Victoria station. They said me trains didn't pass during the night. It's not so! If you don't have a very heavy sleeping behaviour, don't go there. Very awful service!

Could find a hotel in more central london with a similar price to Annexe. Anyway, the room was ok, and the hotel is really near to the victoria coach station. Whereas the toilet was really really really terrible. The water couldn't go off and it float on the tub.
Oya, the breakfast is really nice and the cleaner (is a lady) is really pretty.

I really didn't like the anexxe hotel. But indeeed it's very well located. If you're in a very tight budget its ok, if you aren't you better put in an extra 10 ou 15£ per night to stay in a better hotel.

I will not recommend this hotel even to my worst enemies! The location is great as it is right by the Victoria station but the hotel is unkempt, noisy, we did not get any sleep at all because it was right by the rail tracks and the train ran 24 hours a day, ventilation was poor. This would have all been very minor given the price quoted to us online but we had a very unpleasant experience the day of our arrival. When we checked in the fellow at the desk told us they have cancelled our reservation and the only way we can stay at their hotel was if we agree to pay extra 20 pounds a day over and above the price that you quote us online. We were in a strange place, (our first trip to Europe), and very tired from the plane ride, this gesture was truly unacceptable and appalling. We were told he can always offer the room at a much higher rate to the next customer as London was very busy, tourist flocking to London for the Chelsea Flower show. I hope you will be able to investigate this and please send us a reply.
That was truly an experience in hell!

Room wasn't as in the picture on web site. Price on web site was 40 gbp but I had to pay 48; they also told me that credit cards were not accepted while it was too late in the night. However it's very usefull for traveller who arrives at Victoria coach station.
Breakfast was good. I arrived late in the night but I had no problem in check in.
If you need an hotel not so far from victoria station this is the right place but I hope for the future that price will be more clear and corrispondent to the rate showed on website.

Dear Sir/Madame,
Annexe is only of five hotels in a row ( in the same street), which are managed by one person at a time. He said that his name is Salman Khan. I literally begged him to change my extremely noisy big room in the basement ( due to the horrible noise of the Tube trains which continue till late after midnight, but the guy did not accept, and he insisted that this is the only room available in his five hotels. And he added that I can leave if I don't feel comfortable ( this is after already paying the money). I had recently a heart operation in The Netherlands, where I come from, and I needed so much a bit of rest. But this supervisor, or manager, turned my only night into a nightmare. I will NEVER EVER book again in this hotel, and I don't advise anyone to do so.
I will admire Venere 's Courage to publish my letter without editting.
Many thanks in advance,
Anan Saad
