I stayed 2 nights in the hotel. It's very well located, closed to bus stop and underground.
Friendly staff at reception and very good service at restaurant for the breakfast.
The hotel is very charming and design. The only problem : there is no mini bar (but room service works 24/24)and the duvets are too short.

This hotel is probably the best we have ever stayed at. The staff was very informative and helped us book tickets for a show we wanted to see. The room was very nice and comfortable. Everything was fantastic making our trip one to remember. Thanks to the staff for everything.

overall are excellent except the price comparing to the size for the hotel. Especially for people who are not using GBP, it comes really expensive after exchange rate. Perhaps for international customer, the price is better to be lower.

We were traveling to Europe for our wedding and honeymoon. Sydney House was our first stop. We arrived jet lagged and exhausted. The staff was courteous and accommodating. The rooms were very clean and comfortable even though not vast. The location can't be beat...close enough to downtown and tourist destinations, but far enough away to feel remote and quiet. We would definitely visit again.

Room was small - although by general London standards - but well designed to take best advantage of space available. Service of staff etc was excellent and the location was just great. On the whole I would recommend strongly.

Sydney House is very well situated being only 400 metres from the shops and restaurants of Kings Road, and in the other direction, an easy 10 minute walk to South Kensington station. Our room was the smallest on the floor but impeccably presented, ultramodern and super-clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Had we stayed there longer I'm sure we would have used the bar and lounge area on the ground floor as it looked lovely. We didn't have breakfast there as we thought it a bit too expensive at 10 pounds for a bowl of cereal and toast.

This has to be one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in in terms of style and comfort, and I have stayed in a lot! We did get the room at a discounted rate however and I am not sure it would have been worth the full £175 per night price, but then again not much is. The DVD player and rental service in every room was a bonus that we did not know about but unfortunately didn't get time to use. I will definitely use this hotel again next time I am in London.
