The location is ideal, is in a quiet area close to Oxford Circuss, no problems with the elevator, I got room 1014 excelent. The even provide an iron with a board in the room, TV, nice view. I paid 125 pounds which is good in London central.

The Beds was too hard. Like sleeping on the floor. There was also only cold water in the shower. For London we like a hotel with good location, good beds and a hot shower. One out of three is not good enough.

Good price and very cental located, 3 mins from Oxford street, paid £107 for a double room. Breakfast to expensive, but 2 mins down the street we find a good breakfast restaurant.

This is a very nice hotel for the price and location and is ideal for a short break. The location is perfect for travel to anywhere in London and the immediate area is relatively quiet and peaceful.

We had to change rooms shortly after arrival as there was a leak, into the room, from the aircon unit. The aircon in the second room was totally ineffective but apparently no other rooms were available; DESPITE PAYING £140+, WE SPENT AN ALMOST SLEEPLESS NIGHT. Our third room, for the second night, was as it should have been. The rating given reflects this.

The hotel is badly in need of a re-furbishment:-hinge missing from toilet, no washbasin plug, mould round bath, shabby towels, hideous old blanket on bed, insufficient lighting.I have stayed at the hotel several times before and choose it solely for its location. It does not warrent a 4*status.

Excellent hotel (at this price) just a few steps from Oxford Street and all facilities

Wonderful room, and a very nice and clean bathroom. No noice from the street, but a very annoying sound from the aircondition every evening ! 10 pound for the breakfast, even if it was at 15. floor, was too expensive.

This hotel has a fantastic location for the main shopping streets. It's located 2-3 mins walk from Oxford Circus tube station which is right on the junction between Oxford and Regent Streets. Locality to this tube station means great links to all the sights too. It's about 15-20 mins walk from the hotel to Madame Tussauds. The hotel itself is pleasant. For a four star hotel it's not as good as most 4 stars, but considering it's location it great value. The carpets were a little dirty but the rest of the room was fine. Rooms were a little dark and bachelor-like, but comfortable and functionable. We had terrible noise next to our room, sounded like a generator starting up and winding down again. A little disturbing but as we were only there a couple of nights, we didn't ask for a change. Staff on the front desk were helpful and very informative in the day. During the night, the staff were pleasant but not very knowledgable of the area. Had a problem with the door lock not engaging as we closed it behind us but was fixed promptly. Bathrooms were spacious and stylish. Tea and coffee available in rooms was expected from the hotel description but always a plus point. I ran out of milk so asked for more - it was brought up immediately. Overall, excellent location, comfortable and great value for money for the centre of London. Not my favourite hotel and would like to stay at others, but I would consider staying there again.

Good hotel, centrally located, with nice views from the room and restaurant. However, we could hear all night long some engine noises, probably from an air-conditioning system.

Surroundings is without any doubt, the best of this hotel. Anyhow, it's time to refurnish and change part of the floors. It's a real 3 stars in a 5 stars area.

All in all a good place but when I requested a single I didn't expect what I got--a room with two twin beds, which for the hotel was their idea of a single (and nothing I said could convince them otherwise).

We booked 2 rooms and initially there was some confusion about rooms and rates that needed some time to be solved. The bath tube in one room would have needed thorough cleaning that did not happen though requested several times over 2 days. Otherwise the hotel is fine, quiet, nice view over the city, very close to the city. Not really 4 stars, but ok for London.

I had expected breakfast to be included in the price which at £88 wasn't particularly cheap. The hotel folk also wanted £89 for the room - only a quid, I know but irritating.

Very pleased with the Hotel besides a Air con unit that couldn't be turned off (hence the noise) and the worst directional map I have ever seen. Otherwise the hotel is clean welcoming, the service reflects the price and because the hotel starts on floor nine there is no street noise at all. I loved the film channel on there TV as well.
