Cleanliness is my nr. 1 concern, and my room and bathroom were both impecable and pleasantly appointed. They were both very small, but that was not important since I was traveling alone and only needed the room to sleep and shower. The location is wonderful: lovely surroundings and only 2 blocks away from Paddington Station and from Hyde Park: I walked to Buckingham Palace, St. James Park, Picadilly Circus, the National Gallery, Westminster Abbey; Kensington Palace is also close by. The London tour bus stopped only 2 blocks away, at the bus stop in front of the post office by Paddington Station, which also has a no-fee ATM and where you can take buses to practically anywere. The room's window gave onto a small inner courtyard in which I could sometimes hear voices from other rooms if I left the window open, but that didn't bother me. The only negative note was that my toilet did not flush and it took them 2 days to fix it. Otherwise, the staff was pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was coffee and toast, with some cheese and ham, and marmalade -plenty for me.

A clean, well-run hotel convieniently located near Paddington station with a good selection of restaurants nearby. Rooms are on the small size but adequate. Breakfast is a bit meagre, but also adequate. Price is very reasonable. I have stayed here before and will again.

We were surprised at the size of the room and the overall quality of the hotel. Very convenient location and ideal base for exploring london. If you are travelling with kids paddington station is worth a visit because of its links to paddington bear and there is an excellent range of paddington related souvenirs.

The room was fine for a tourist class hotel. Room was small but clean. Shower was tiny. Room faced the street and there was a considerable amount of street noise. It was unusually warm for London when I was there and the room was very warm - no AC or cross ventilation.

As per other reviews, the rooms are not big! However, they are just about adequate. Main areas of concern were very poor quality of waitressing service in breakfast room, the length of time for cooked breakfast to arrive (20 minutes), and the quality of the cooked breakfast (greasy, certainly not worth the wait). The location of the hotel is good (<5 minutes from Paddington station), and overall its price represents reasonable value.

Hotels in London tend to be remarkably expensive. Compared to that this was a good and nice hotel. The location was very good between the Paddington railway station and Hyde park. Both the Paddington and the Lancaster Gate tube stations were very near. Rooms were claimed to be extremely small but we had no problems with that - our double room was big enough for us.

Chambre très moyenne au regard du prix. En plus, il était en travaux et nous avions une chambre qui donnait sur des murs de béton, donc pas de lumière et aucune vue évidemment.

Furnished in avery bad taste. Modest. Rooms very small and any conditioned air. Ammobiliato con vero cattivo gusto. Modesto. Camere piccolissime senza aria condizionata.

Easy to get to from Heathrow to Paddington via Express (15 min) & then 3 minute taxi ride. Paid £3 extra for English breakfast. Lots of coffee & toast and cornflakes. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Good hotel.Good location. We stayed in a family room with our 2 teenage children. The room (407) was on the ground floor and VERY quiet! Big enough for the 4 of us (we spent our days outside of course). Only the bathroom was small but everything was very clean (and we are quite demanding). Breakfast was good too. You could ask for more bread, cheese, coffee. It seemed to us that most employees were young foreigners who were not very good at English but they did their job very well. Good hotel, expensive of course (110pounds a night) but London is London, isn't it?

I would never believe, that double room in hotel could be so small. Our room, Nr. 4 was in the underground, small as our bathroom in Prague. When I wanted to go in the bath room, my husband had to be in the bett - terrible. Bathroom is the smallest in the world I think. The original english breakfest was very poor, the continental brekfeast also. I want to visit London once again, but I will look for another hotel.

Abby Court is a good value for a place to stay while you are gone all day sight seeing. It is clean and adequate. If you take the train from Heathrow. Make sure you give the Connect a try instead of the Express. It is half the price with the only differences being a few stops, a 10 minute longer trip, and a more limited schedule.

It was the first time I stayed in London and in Abbey Court Hotel. The hotel is clean and beautiful. The rooms are too tiny but the relationship between price and quality is good. The Tube is 5 minutes from the hotel and near there is Hide Park, surroundings are beautiful.

Was asked to provide credit card copy (by fax) for confirmation of the booking and was told the cost for one night would be deducted but the cost for the whole stay wa charged at once, more than one month in advance. Asked for confirmation of reception of fax but none was sent.

El hotel me gustó. El personal muy atento y amable. La limpieza era buena. El único pero era el baño pequeño, pero no empaña lo acogedor del hotel. Volvería a contratar de nuevo este hotel, si fuese otra vez a Londres.

Small double room in the basement, very clean and quiet, at first a strange smell of talcum or so, but we opened the window. I was travelling with my son who is using a wheelchair - staff was very helpful and friendly with him. Location is perfect near Paddington station. Recommendable.

I stayed here for 2 weeks in September. The room was even tinier than I expected, but it was clean and serviced every day. The staff in the dining room were excellent. They were very friendly and accommodating. The continental breakfast was basic, but there was always plenty of food available. One of the best part of this hotel is its' location. It is just blocks from the train, the tube, and the bus. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and I would recommend it to anyone who asks.

The hotel lobby is very well done but the rooms could be updated. Small bathroom but overall it was a good place to stay, very close to Paddington Station and good access to the tube. Close to Regent and Hyde Park. Would stay here again. A little noisy when we were there do to construction next door. Statue of Peter Pan in Regent Park is about a 5 minute walk.

The hotel is nice, very clean, good staff. Space of rooms really small. The only thing is: there is not a signage of the Abbey Court Hotel in front of the building. There is another name: Westpoint Hotel in front. Also the number 174 in Sussex Garden does not exist, so real number is 176. Because of that we walk around the street (crowded of hotels) for more than 40 minutes until we could find it.

They have a lot of basement rooms. They are not warning you about that. It is not possible to have fresh air or sun. Very small bathroom, bath tube had insulation strips on the edges. I do not recommend this hotel for this amount of money even for sleep&go.

Overall not bad for the price. Staff was very pleasant and welcoming. Rooms are of course small and very slightly run down, but clean. The location was excellent, 2 blocks down from London Paddington Station. Lots of little cafes and restaurants right along the street. Only negative factor was the level of street noises heard in the room.

The Hotel location is very good, near the tube, the train and bus stops. The accomodation for the first night was at - 1 floor, near the kitchens and the breakfast room, it was very very hot and noisy, we asked to change the room and they gave a new room the day after. The staff was very kind. I reccomand this hotel if you go to London.

We stayed at Abbey Court on Easter 2007. Good public transportation facilities, near Paddington Station. Rooms clean but very small, toilet less than 3 square metters with no facilities at all. Continental breakfast is included but poor quality, just enough at all. Acceptable choice for short stays and less than 90 GBP. I will return to this hotel.

This is the perfect example of a misleading advert. The Hotel's reception lobby (definitely not all the public areas) has been refurbished nicely but the rest of the building is extremely poor quality, with minuscule rooms, narrow corridors, etc. Emergency signing not clear either. Lift (the only one we saw) takes ages. Breakfast very poor too. In summary, a wrong choice for any traveller -even considering how close it is to Paddington station.

Pleasant stay. If I had to point out something I didn't fully like was the shower which was a bit tiny, but everything else was as expected or better, thus I would recommend this hotel.
