It took a bit of searching for the right hotel for us to spend our first wedding anniversary at, but Montagu Place Hotel was the find!! We splashed out on a swanky room and were delighted by the room. Spacious (for London) and just as the photo showed. Would stay there again without a doubt.

Only a small problem with the door, who was tough to close and open.
Apart from that I did not use much of the hotel services but the room was excellent (if only slightly small), the location very convenient and the price/quality very good (this being London, of course)

This hotel is fabulous. It is so rare to find somewhere that manages to combine contemporary taste, luxury and comfort and also retain an intimate feel to the place without any fuss or pretension. The only thing which was a shame is the lack of a nearby carpark, because although it looks near on the map, even two London streets are quite far to walk when you are dressed up in evening gear plus high heels for an evening out. However, the hotel is so wonderful that this would not deter me from returning. A first rate place.
