USA, Aug 2008
Family room (sleeps 4) was in the basement..very noisy...from the street as well as from the guests, as the breakfast room was in the same hallway. The whole outside was under repair so workers were on scaffolding early in the morning...there is no air conditioning so windows had to be open for air, which led to our noise problems. Otherwise staff was helpful and the area had plenty of grocery stores and take-away places. All of London was VERY expensive, but we still thought that the relationship between the price and quality was not good.

The breakfast room is reasonably tiny for the number of guests and the business in the mornings. Very good location within the city

It was some problem with the reservation fee they take before you arrive, but overall it was a pleasent stay. We got a small room for 4 people, but we didn´t use the room that much anyway so... Good breakfast.

Modern, newly furnished hotel with very good location. Clean, quiet, but small rooms. Good fruits for breakfast.

The Mayflower stay was excellent. It is extremely close to the underground and basic restaurants are nearby to satisfy any food cravings. The continental breakfast was good and satisfied our needs. The room was spacious for a european hotel and the beds were very comfortable. Staff was extremely polite and helpful without being overbearing.

Great location just round corner from Earls Court station with lots of all night shps, restaurants, internet cafe, banks and post office very close. The one drawback is that rooms at back of hotel overlook station platforms and won't suit those sensitive to noise.

the room I booked was for a double. I think I received a single because the room is tiny. I can't even walk around the bed. The bed size is full not queen. The street noise is unbearaable. I felt deceived.

The hotel is under renovation, no elevator provided. The staircase is steep, it is so hard to carry the luguage to the upper floors. The staff was unable to show us the ways to the nearest HSBC bank or the Tower Bridge. They proudly claimed that this' a 3-star hotel, but we can hardly agree, cause the service provided was with great disappointment from the room to the staff when we compared with the 3-star hotels in Europe, e.g. Barcelona and Firenze, that we stayed during this trip, which were also booked through venere.com.

We were quite lucky because they offered us one of the rooms that had been recently refurbished. The room was really nice, warm and welcoming and we couldn't but express our satisfaction with our staying at the Mayflower hotel.

Our two newly decorated rooms were nicely furnished and equipped. The standard of accomodation was high and we would highly recommend this hotel.

When we first arrived, we were put into a horrible room that was in the basement, had a broken window that someone could gain access to our room through, and had a terrible odor. It was terrible. I did ask to change rooms since we were uncomfortable with the entire situation. They did give us a better room but still not quality in any way. The pictures on the web site showed MUCH nicer rooms and talked about each one had a theme. Could not figure out any theme for ours. Just a basic, no frills room
