Hotel estupendo para hospedarse en londres. Tienes el metro en la misma esquina. Fantastica situación en zona 1. A pocos minutos de cualquier lugar turistico. El desayuno escaso. Poca variedad. Todo no se puede tener. Jejejeje. Me alegro de haber estado alli. Buena calidad/precio.

On venere.com it says about Crestfield Hotel: "Enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast consisting of eggs, bacon, sausage, tomatoes, toast, cereal, tea, coffee, orange juice and apple juice, served in the breakfast room from 7.30 a.m. to 9 a.m." That is bullshit, a total lie! This is what made me choose this hotel, but when I came there they had not even "heard of" egg, bacon, sausage and english breakfast. What a disappointment. I am disappointed about the hotel, and about venere.com. I have to add that the hotel was extremely clean and tidy.

PLeasant clean hotel delivered the basic comforts. Hot water and clean towels daily, and the room was nice and warm. Basic breakfast but all you need really. The double room we had was big enough but lacked basics like bed side lighting, towel rails. Quite noisy but what do you expect in London! Still managed to get good nights sleep.

quite good for a short stay if you are alone, because rooms are very small ! east to access: 2 minutes from King Cross underground and train station.

I stayed in London while on a business trip. Booked a single ensuite room, got a double room ensuite, overall a small room, but ok for me. Hotel is in perfect location just 50m from tube and railway Kings Cross, very calm road, low traffic, several fast food restaurants around the corner, save area, rooms ok for price, breakfast not really good, but sufficient. Would definitly stay at this hotel when again in London!

4 double rooms booked, all corresponding to the following description. The rooms are very small, poorly furnished and dirty, with a very small bathroom (2 persors cannot stay inside), no shower plate (water flows everywhere) and a ridiculously small basin provided with nothing(soap, shampo, etc...). Breakfast: poorly catered. Staff: very rude! Location: The only good point. In the front of King's cross, a big exchange metro and railroad station. Concluding, do not choose this hotel!

We had a great time! We had a triple room just like we wanted. It was so clean and cute. The only thing is that there was a very little washbasin in the toilet. It is an old fashioned washbasin that you cannot have cold&hot water at the same time. Breakfast was not perfect but good. If you want to stay at Crestfield, reserve room 20 :).

The room was pretty small, but decent in size anyway. The blankets weren't very clean, but everything else was alright. Literally across the street from King's Cross station, from where you can get anywhere in 15 minutes by tube. Recommended to single travellers or very young couples, but if money isn't a factor or if you're travelling with children you may want to book something different.

The hotel was clean, the beds small but comfortable, it's half a block from the King's Cross underground, about a block from St. Pancras station and the Eurostar to Paris. The staff was friendly - we had absolutely no problems. I understand that some rooms are very small, but we had a room with 2 twin beds, and that helped. On this trip to London, I stayed at the Crestfield on my own dime (65 BPS), and at the Park Lane Sheraton paid for by my company (220 BPS), and was only marginally more impressed by the significantly more expensive hotel. The Crestfield is not swanky, but perfect for my purposes (to be near St. Pancras in a hotel that would be acceptable to myself and my mother). The winding stairs would be difficult to navigate with suitcases for some.

The taxi driver had a hard time finding this hotel. It was nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Good location, half a block from the train station. The only real complaint I have is that there was no elevator (lift) and the stairways were very steep and narrow. The rooms were quite small, but nice an clean. The highling was the owner's terrier, "Jack".

I have stayed in many cheap hotels over the decades, but this was the wrost. The staff is incompetent at best, thieves at worst. They tried to charge my credit card in dollars, even though I requested pounds. 'It is automatic,' both the clerk and owner insisted. Luckily my card would not accept it. After arguing and about 8 attempts, they tried pounds. (In other words, they were lying.) The charge went through at once. Later I checked the charge on my card, and their exchange rate was over 5% worse that that given me by my card. Baisically, a noisy, smelly flop house. Spend an extra 10 pounds and go elsewhere.

Ottima posizione, a due passi dalla metro. Camere pulite, piuttosto spaziose e luminose. Consigliato!

Employees weren't too nice. Tried to charge me double. She really insisted and I had to really fight my way into going back to the right amount! Not the nicest thing to happen... Besides that, the room was nice & clean, comfortable bed, nice mirror in front of it ;-) We had great fun in our one-night stay. Just make sure that, next morning, they don't try to charge your credit card with double of what you're supposed to pay!

Bathroom and toilets in the same room and really small. The hotel is well situated : one minute from King's Cross Station witch is served by a lot of tube lines. The price is really correct for London and the rooms are clean. It's a shame, the breakfast is poor (no choice and no quantity).

------------------------------------- The Hotel is very clean but with small and raw rooms(even if that's normal in London). The receptionists are very kind and helpful. The breakfast is based on coffee and milk (or tea) and jam. The hotel position is great, near King Cross Station. After all well-recommended for its price/quality ratio.

The rooms were clean and the service was o.k.. The information about the hotel, the comments and good ratings of other guests aggreed with that what we found. In this price range you will seldom find a better choice. But a slice of cheese or salami would enhance the "continental" breakfast.

The rooms are small but clean. There is enough privacy. Breakfast is poor and has always the same menu. The hotel is near from the tube station and from the center of London. It is a good hotel for tourists looking for a simple, civilized accomodation at a good price. It is ok if you are more interested to walk out, visit, travel than staying in.

Even the hotel was well located and service was good, we found out at the time of our arrival that Basic Room (U$S100.00) meant to share a bathroom between 4 rooms (around 8 people). We requested another room, spent 2 nights on the basic one, 2 nights on an En suite one (w/ private bathroom) after that the hotel had no more space for us so we started to look for another one, spent a night on a 2nd hotel and the rest 5 nights in a good one a block from Crestfield. I suggest to explain to the American travelers what they get for the money spent.

Hi everybody! First of all, I have to say that we looked for an affordable place to stay in London, which doesn`t seem to be easy. Our room was 60pounds per night for a double-room ensuite. Unfortunately, the breakfast was included. The breakfast was the worst piece of crap you could ever imagine. There is slices of toast only, honey and 5 kinds of jam, that all tasted the same. Also, there is great bowls of cereal. Haven´t tried that, but it didn´t look very fresh. You can opt for tea or coffee. Breakfast is from 7.30-9.00. Five minutes before nine the lights in the very meagre breakfast room will go out as a sign that breakfast will be finished soon and you should better leave now. Do not make the mistake to ask the breakfast ladies anything: I asked them very politely whether we could have some toast and her answer was "sit down and wait". That´s probably the most annoying thing about Crestfield. Everybody there is totally unfriendly. That´s what I really hated about that place. Else I would consider coming back. The location is great if you want to travel a lot. It´s no more than 200m from King´s Cross and St. Pancras, where no less than 6 tube lines intersect. Even better for visitors from continental europe, the Eurostar will terminate at St. Pancras as of Nov 2007. So that´s great. On a positive side note, if it wasn´t for road construction works that just happened to take place during our stay, it is rather quiet in that street, although the main road at King´s Cross is really close. Well...the room was as tiny as they come, but we didn´t wanna spend much time there anyway, so that was okay. The room had a color TV (five programmes) and a kettle, which was nice. The bathroom was less than 2m² (I swear), but for a couple of days that was acceptable. The walls seem to be made of paper, you could hear very well what was happening in the adjacent rooms. After all, we could recommend Crestfield for people that do not have high expectations.

My wife and I stayed at your hotel for 5 nights, and would reommend it for future travellers. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. We would definately stay there again. But, the instructions for getting to the hotel were vague. The hotel was very close to the Underground and British Rail services, which was excellent. The Euston Flyer public house, which was just 5 mins walk away, is highly recommended.

The room was clean but small. Quietness could be a problem if you have noisy neighbours. But this is for the cheapest room, so i could not really complain. The breakfast includes toast, butter and jam. The location is great, just a few steps from King's Cross station. This was my first time in London I have enjoyed it much.
