The staff are excellent-welcoming and friendly. The rooms are comfortable but a bit tired; the seats on the lavatories of both rooms we stayed in were very loose, and the hook on the bathroom door of one hanging by one (loose) screw (which presumably is why we didn't get the promised robes)and the curtains need cleaning. The breakfast was rather pre-packaged, with weak coffee and tasteless fruit salad; surprising for a hotel run by Searcy's. But the hotel is well-located, and good value for money.

Although it is a B&B, after getting used to the rather mysterious way of getting in and out of the premises. Searcy's was a little gem. And to know what I mean, you have to stay there. This would be more fun during a warmer month than March in London with some slight snow, as the garden was not used. Not suited for large suitcases. Breakfast service in room only, and nice. Reseption and staff very friendly and attentive.

From Waterloo International station take the Nothern line to Paddington station.
By airplane
From Heathrow airport take the Piccadilly line and get off at Knightsbridge station.
From Gatwick airport take the Gatwick Express to Victoria station. Then take the Victoria subway line to Green Park and switch to the Piccadilly line and get off at Knightsbridge station.
From Luton airport take the Thameslink to King's Cross St. Pancras station. Then take the Victoria subway line to Green Park and switch to the Piccadilly line and get off at Knightsbridge station.
From Stansted airport take the Stansted Express to Liverpool Street station. Then take the Central line to Holborn and switch to the Piccadilly line and get off at Knightsbridge station.
