Central Park's location is the one good thing about this hotel. Its near restaurants and the tube. The Heathrow express is only one stop away on the tube. The hotel is accessible to everything.

Overall the hotel is in a good spot and everything is accessible without a hassle. In terms of the hotel itself, its a roof over your head and has everything needed for the basics.

Excellent hotel, situated near the north-west corner of Hyde Park (50 mt from the park!), and near 2 underground stops (really 3-4 minutes by feet from Queensway and Bayswater, with shops and supermarket). The relationship from quality and price is very good, because it's a real 3 stars hotel at the price of a 2 stars, expecially if you don't forget to be in London! Clean rooms (actually a bit narrow) and new towels every day, furniture almost new and no noise from corridors. The breakfast is not included in base fare, but for 3P you can have a generous good international breakfast (buffet), for 5P the english breakfast. Unfortunately they have a very bad coffée! Unique bad aspect: some of the receptionists are really hateful. But anyway, absolutely recommended!

It's a cramped block of cells with very little character or comfort. I know most hotel rooms in London are on the small side but my room was exceptionally small and not exceptionally cheap. The area is nice and the hotel is not far but certainly not centrally located as the name implies.

our stay at the central park was i suppose ok. on first impressions it was so small you couldnt swing a cat in the room it was tiny. the bed was like a cell bed and for some strange reason when you lay on it your feet were up higher than your body,it was not comfy at all after the second night my back was killing me. if you had a big weight problem you wouldnt have a hope of using the toilet, the bathroom was so small. the main door to our room wouldnt lock properly so at night we put our suitcase in front of it a fire hazard i know! the view was of bricks that was about it but the one thing it has is a great location we went for a concert in hyde park and we could walk to and from very easily so 10/10 for location. but in the end you get what you pay for.

Do not get a room that faces the street-side of the hotel. The noise lasted all night!! Room was fairly clean but with 3 beds it was NOT spacious. Location was great. People at the front desk were VERY impersonable nor were they very helpful at all. The Concierge was the better of the 3 however he was not very understandable since his English was not very clear. Since the US dollar is not very good at the moment the quality of the hotel vs. the price is not very equitable!! I think you could do better!

Very nice reception, however, very unprofessional staff who did not know what they were doing. Rooms very small but OK for a weekend away. Breakfast poor quality/choice with the breakfast police being over zealous at best. Not the standard I expected from a London hotel but bearable for the price and location for short trips. Would not repeat the experience.

This hotel is ok to stay in, it is near Queensway tube station on the central line which makes it very convenient for exploring London. The pubs near by close at 11.00 so we were caught a few times on the way back to the hotel but there is a nice bar in the hotel which was good. The rooms are adaquate, basic but were comfortable. They could be a bit noisy, mostly doors opening and closing. The contenental breakfast was very poor, bread rolls, jam and coffee. There was a cooked breakfast available for £4.00 but it did not look very good. I did not see the family rooms but there were people there with children of various ages. We stayed for four nights and overall I would recommend it as the price for the hotel is really good value and the location is great

I stayed at this hotel a few years ago as well, and then i thought it was a reasonalble value with all the inflated london prices. On this trip the hotel was the same price, but it had been totally renovated! The room was absolutely unsatisfactory. It was small, with no windows, and very noisy (due to a terrible acoustic isolation, I could hear people talking in other rooms, in the corridor, and people walking in the upper floor). As for the cleanliness, the room was generally ok, but I found dirt a bath towel. All in all, an unpleasant experience.

Very unfriendly staff, horribly small rooms & bathroom, breakfast hall in the basement and pretty shabby (reminds me of a NYC Salvation Army canteen), breakfast rather poor. However compared to other pricier facilities it was acceptable. Great position on the map: Queensway super lively (various eateries, markets, ...), just a stone's throw from Notting Hill and across the street from Hyde Park. I wouldn't go back through.

very centrally located, and very close to the the undeground. clean, nice. the staff were very helpful (the light in my room was not working one morning and they had it repaired almost immediately), although one day we asked for a cab and the reception tried to sell us one of their private cars, which would cost a lot more, so that wasn't very nice of them. But on the whole, I would say very good realtionship between price and quality.

I had stayed at this hotel for 3 days in a triple room. The room was extremely small with very little space around the beds. Although the hotel was in the process of being upgraded this did not cause a problem. The new card locking system means that too many clients slam their doors, which is a nuisance late at night. I was given assistance over a couple of matters by the hotel manageress who dealt with these promptly and efficiently and with a smiling face, which always helps! At last I've found a London hotel with a decent-sized bathroom and comfortable bed. The somewhat basic continental breakfast is included in the room price; a cooked breakfast is available but seems expensive. The hotel is convenient for buses, tube and railways and there is a good variety of shops in nearby Noting Hill.

* Map to hotel is useless. I walked circles for about a mile before locals could direct me better. * Front desk was fine and courteous. They spoke English well. Not sure what others were referring to in other comments. * I had to call a couple times to get my lock open and my refrigerator fixed and NEVER receveid a response. * The lady in the breakfast area was as rude as someone can be. I sat down when I arrived in the room and the lady first of all made me put back eggs that I put on my plate (as it's not included in the breakfast) as there was no sign what you are allowed to take and what you are not. Then she asked me to move to another area by stating "this area is for lunch. You saw me setting it up and you sat here anyway". Like somehow I'm supposed to know which area was designated breakfast and which was for lunch. What a joke. The breakfast you were allowed was toast, bread and cereal. There was nothing else like fruit. * The room was pleasant, but small as expected. The walls are quite thin so you can hear others next to you. There is no A/C but I didn't particularly need it. * Basically it's a place to stay when you are touring London. It's close to the big red bus tour. Enjoy.

Dear Mr.Mrs On the 04.09.07- 07.09.07 I was viseting your hotel and unfortunatly it was unjoyable spending time there. I wasent pleased that the renovatsion jobs in the hotel made our stay more difficult. Sometimes the light didnt work then in the coridor there was always dusty. In our room there were taracans, bugs. And the air conditioning didnt work also in the rooms. I think it would bee more than fair that your hotel would pay me back atleast half of the price we payd for. Yours sicearly Veera Levitsky

Perfect choice for a week-end stay in London. Room was extraordinary spacious for a Hotel in London and very clean. My room was recently refurbished. Location just perfect near Hyde Park and Tube stations & Buses nearby. I had a good comparison as I had to move to another hotel the week-end after my stay, since Central-Park was fully-booked the other weekend. So I pretty much know also about "bad" Hotels in London, but Central Park was just perfect.

The telephone operator working the late evening shift on June 28th and 29th was quite rude and unprofessional. We complained to the operator about it, but the operator's attitude was very bad and inpatient. We wish that didn't happend. I travel often to London and this is the best hotel I've ever tried! We were 2 adults travelling with a boy aged 7 and found the hotel a good choice for cleanliness, quiteness and good service. Location is very good, very close to Queensway Tube station (central line 8 mins in West End), good for buses, Kensigton Gardens and Hyde Park just 2 mins walk away and best of all you are in Oxford Street in 30mins walking. Excellent to do in a sunny day. Good quality for a reasonable price considering the London standards'.

Excellent solution for the price and the location (Queensway). Wide bathroom, clean room. It's not an Hotel with an intimate atmosphere: it is a large one, a classic big hotel. I'll choose it in another occasion!

Cheap and clean, our double room was very small. In need of small repairs, toilet seat was damaged. I think Hotel Central Park first and foremost caters to tourists who need efficient and relatively cheap accomodation, and who do not intend to stay much in the room exept for sleeping.

Good Hotel, even if it's better in the photos on the internet. By the way, it's very good to take the underground, and it's good also if you want to have a walk in Hyde Park.

Eccellente soluzione.

Big bed, but small room. The room was quiet with respect to noise coming from outside, but the acustic isolation with next room was poor. Very close to Kensington Park (really beautiful) and to Queensway (very lively). Good communication to Central London, especially via bus.

Central Park was exactly what was advertised and promised to me. Upon my arrival, I had a problem with the shower. I was immediately put in another room as soon as it was determined that the problem was not an easy fix. The only other problem that I had was the fact that you could clearly hear what was going on in the hallways (6th floor). On my original floor (3rd) I noticed that the noise was not as clear. Kudos should go to two employees there, Tina at the front desk and Pauline at the bar (maybe vice versa). I would definitely recommend this hotel. Oh yes, one other feature I appreciated was the fact that they had 3 elevators and they were larger than normal British elevators.

Canadian couple stay 3 nights in mid sep/06. The street in all 2 & 1 star hotel/hostel. There is no AC in room and single pane window. We got a room facing the road and it is noicey. There is people talking and yelling on the street. Motor cycling zoom by in the middle of the night and delivery truck working 3 O'clock in the moring. When you close the window it is too hot. I have to change my room facing the back lane and it is way better. The room itself is tiny and a bit worn down. It is near to 2 major metro station and lots of restaurants around with resonable price. Price is cheap when compare with other hotel.

Excellent Hotel, the best I have ever stayed in London. Affordable and yet high quality, better that all the ones down al Victoria and a lot cheaper. It's a 5 star hotel compared to other shit holes I've seen for the same price.

Hotel has no public toilet in the reception area. There is an extra charge for "continental breakfast". Reception personnel was unable to sell a code for Wifi access. They asked us to wait until someone who understands the issue came the next day.

Our room was very small and it didn't face the main road as we had asked, there were construction workers in the flats opposite our windows and they were very noisy, especially in the afternoons when we wanted a small rest. There was not even a common area where we could relax or read so we had to stay in our small packed room all the time. Breakfast was just toast and butter/jam and coffee or tea. Croissants and bread rolls were horrible (not freshly baked but the type that come in plastic bags). The other features were ok: excellent location, fridge in the room, clean bathroom.
