I expected a bit more from a three-star hotel. Stayed just one day. Had a nicer room at a two-star hostal in Barcelona. But the price was good, so I cannot really complain.

We travelled as a group of golfers for a 4 night stay and paid for gold standard rooms. On arrival we were dumped in the "apartments" at the rear of the hotel.When we complained we were offered an upgrade to fully inclusive. Not what we wanted or paid for !! Eventually got the reply the hotel was full and really it was take it or leave it, we negotiated a 20% reduction in the room rate as well as the "fully inclusive". The food was pretty bland so we ate out every evening anyway, did'nt even bother with breakfast. The "apartments" are rubbish unless you are on a very tight budget, with steep walks, especially when carrying golf bags !! Generally the staff were sympathetic, but the poor accomodation took the shine off an otherwise enjoyable golf trip.

Sono stato in questo hotel 6 notti in mezza pensione a fine settembre,ho pagato pochissimo la mezza pensione e cioè 242 euro per 2 persone,l'hotel offre molti servizi ha molti spazi aperti con delle splendide piscine con cascate,un grande solarium,un ottimo centro benessere la reception sempre aperta,la camera anche se quella non rinnovata,era molto spaziosa con 2 mega letti,bagno e tv internazionale. Da consigliare davvero. p.S.Se mostrate il biglietto aereo Ryanair,vi faranno uno sconto del 10% sul totale pagato.

The so called "Standard" rooms are well below any standard! The room on the whole hasn't been renovated for ages: dirty bathroom, lamps leaning off the wall, dusty wardrobes, rusty balcony... However the breakfast is ok, the territory is nice (like shown in the photos) and the price is quite attractive. The only advice: if you chose this hotel, never ever book a standard room!

Struttura impressionante. Difficile a questi prezzi trovare qualcosa del genere in italia. Le stanze vengono pulite ogni giorno con ottima cura, le piscine e le aree adiacenti sono super confortevoli,il personale è disponibile ed educato. la cucina è ottima e le colazioni ti spingono a saltare il pranzo vista la loro abbondanza. Veramente un piacere spendere così i soldi.

The room walls are probably made of paper and you can listen your neighbour breath..anyway, if your're young you can use this place like a luxury hostel.

attention le prix de la nuit au parking est de 14 euros !! non écrit sur la pub ! on a eu la désagréable surprise d'avoir des fourmis dans la chambre le matin.. j'avais réservé une gold, on m'a donné une "suite"... elle n'avait de suite que l'espace canapé et double télé.. je n'imagine pas la taille d'une chambre normale.. sinon, bon petit déjeuner dans l'ensemble et en cette période (février) la nuit a été calme..

Overall great Hotel.The staff spoke at least 4 different languages. The facilities available were awesome. There were lots of activities for the young and old. If you are placed in certain rooms, the band/music playing might keep you up at night. However, when I questioned them about the free parking as mentioned in the site, we were told that must have meant the SPACES on the STREET. (Parking spaces are not plentiful.)Parking is 14 Euro per day.You also need a wireless card to take advantage of the in-room internet. The internet downstairs is about 1 Euro for 10 minutes. I would Definitely visit again!!

Sporco, molto rumoroso, caro per la qualità. nonostante avessi pagato 2 notti, dopo la prima sono andata via senza rimborso. Dirty, very very noisy, expensive for the quality. although I had paid 2 nights, after the first decided to go away without reimboursement. Schmutzig, sehr sehr laermig, teuer fuer die qualitaet. Trotzdem ich 2 Naechte schon bezahlt hatte, nach der erste hatte ich genug und bin ohne Ersatz weggefahren. Sucio, demasiado ruido, caro por la calidad. aunque teniendo 2 noches pagadas, despues de la primera tuve bastante y salì sin reembolso. Sale, trop de bruil, cher pour la qualitè. en ayant 2 nuit payée, je quitté egalment l'hotel sans de remboursement apres la premiere nuit, c'est suffisant?

I found the Hotel Guitart Central Park Resort & Spa to be a great place to stay while staying in the Costa Brava region. We booked a Gold standard double room, and it was fabulous with a spacious bathroom and bedroom, a minifridge, large tv and a couch in the room. A couple with us had a standard double room and while they thought it was very clean, and adequate, it was fairly small, with a tiny tv and the noise levels around their room was very loud and casue dthem some sleeping problems. So i would recommend to pay the extra for at least a Gold standard room. Breakfast was the only poor thing about the hotel, it was very basic continental, with hardly any fruit or yoghurts. Any cooked food was limited and not very tasty. We were attending the Moto GP about 70km away from the hotel, which was a great few days out. The walk path around and past the castle in Lloret de Mar was breathtaking.

we booked a gold package but were put in a standard and after complaining were upgraded to a larger room dor 300 Euros more .. service was very low all they were interestd in was money ont the guest .. will never use this hotel again.

Nice hotel, catered to the Spring Break crowd. All as advertised. Only thing needed was more service at the front desk with regard to local attractions. Overall, very good hotel with modern, large, clean room for my 4 person family. Thank you. MM

This hotel was ideal for 9 guys playing golf. We had 9 single rooms which were clean. Noisy at times. Breakfast was included but food not great. Overall, extremely good value for money.

Excellent Staff - all were extremely hard working and attentitive. We paid extra for a few days of full board (8 Euros for adults 5 Euros for children for Lunch or Dinner) - it was worth it for a few days...but Lloret de Mar has numerous options for eating out very cheaply so full board is not necessary. The service in the bar was excellent and the tapas and sangria top quality. They have nightly entertainment - we enjoyed a magic show one night that was surprisingly good. The location was perfect - not on the main street. It was nice to have a clean pool to come back to after a day at the beach,too.

Hotel stay was excellent. Food was a bit boring. Choice of chicken, fish and pork every night with a different sauce. And as out of them i only like chicken it was chicken all week for me. Other than that everything was ok. No lock on room door when we arrived. Hotel was going to move us to a different hotel of higher standards as no rooms available but declined as this was the hotel of our choice. They promised to have it fixed by Monday which it was, well one of them was but the other door wasnt. Nothing went missing though so it was ok. Great location, close enough to the centre but far away enough from the noise. Stayed in a gold room which was worth the money definitely. Only real dissappoinment with the hotel was that there was a charge to use the gym and spa facilities which is not mentioned on the site. Only 7 euros each per day but as we thought it was free, was not happy about this. Overall a lovely hotel with friendly staff. Would definitley visit again! 10/10!

Having hired a car at Girona airport and driving to Lloret de Mar easily,finding the hotel amongst a maze of one way streets was diabolical. Clear directions from C63 would be a great help. The hotel standard was very good and the food above average. Good location easy reach of shopping cafes and bars. Internet terminals were down on arrival and remained so for the whole stay, despite several prompts to reception. Staff friendly and curtious. Value for money would go again.

2 points negatifs: a/ la propreté de la salle de bain (cheveux dans baignoire) b/ battiment très mal insonorisé, les bruits du couloir sont très audibles et présent dans la chambre. deux points très positifs e/ la qualité du petit déjeuner f/ le prix des repas très bas(3.75€)

I wish I could of stayed longer. I really enjoyed our stay and the area was close to everything yet set away from the busy areas. When I return to Lloiret De Mar I will also return to Guitart Central.

THE GOLD ROOMS ARE EXCELLENT AND ARE WELL WORTH UPGRADING TO. EXCELLENT VALUE FOR THE PRICE PAID.

I thouroghly enjoyed my stay at the hotel and will definitly be recommending my friends and family to stay there. Although the standard rooms are "mucky" by comparison of those in the upper range of accomodation, i shall be telling friends to pay the extra and get the luxerys that the upper range rooms had to offer. On the whole the hotel and grounds are excellent, and the location is perfect for quiet yet not far from the town centre. I will definitly go back to the hotel in the very near future.

A good hotel, expecial for the mini-suite, very confortable and spacious, a good cooking, not excellent for Italian cuisine (pasta for example) but expecial for meal and fish, a various breakfast (continental and American), an excellent relationship with the employees, an only one "little problem" for the extension of the swimming-pool in relation at the number of the guest of the Hotel, but the seaside of Lloret de Mar is very large (not cheap, but very large).

no place arround the pool ! need to reserve your seat for 1§ in the morning that is not correct and acceptable for this type of hotel.

Superb value, off-season. I have now stayed 2 years in a row - Nov 2002 and Oct 2003. Also, on my recommendation friends have stayed here in March 2003. Now planning to stay longer in 2004/5/6/.... When you get over the initial shock of finding that the price quoted on-line is not per person, but per room,(full-board!) you will be astonished to find that the tariff includes wine at each meal, and nightly entertainment. But enough about the low cost. This is certainly NOT a cheap location. 7 swimming pools, two tennis courts, ample facilities for children, and the food still has us drooling. ok the entertainment in the main lounge is rather butlinesque, but we'll be back again and again and again. Finally let me comment on venere. What a wonderful site! We travelled Belfast - E Midlands- Milan (Bergamo) - Alassio - Antibes - Montpellier - Lloret. All accommodation was booked on venere -a big worry, initially. But sans souci, everything was as described right down to distances from rail stations. Now I'm going to try out venere's hotel booking service in Prague - with total faith! Gee did I really write this - as an arch critic of on-line services? No choice. Viva venere!

The Guitart Central Park Hotel is in the midst of remodeling. When we first arrived we were given a room that was not to the standards we were expecting (tile floors; two single beds; old sheets; no balcony). After talking to the receptionist, we were moved to another room which was remodeled, updated and very nice. We did have to pay the extra charges to be moved to a different room as well. Also, we were not aware that this hotel was a "full board" hotel which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner offering these meals in the price of the room rate. Overall, the stay was wonderful--after we got a nicer room!
