Everything was excellent. The room was really nice. The lobby was modern and pretty. The front desk people were friendly and helpful. The bar was good and bartender very gracious. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. The location was close to the metro. I would stay there again! I traveled with my daughter.

Our stay at the Marques de Sa was fantastic. The staff (especially Ana) was VERY helpful and knowledgeable. Hotel was close to Metro and in a very nice area close to several restaurants and shopping areas. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Price very reasonable as well!

Good adress: Quiet, good service, but a bit isolated (far from restaurants)

Giorgio & MG

A little out of town, but easy to catch the metro into the centre. Surrounding area interesting and clean, mainly large shops and residential. Don't bring a large car here, the parking is good under the hotel, but getting in and out is not easy. It took me an hour to check in after a long day; a large group had arrived just as we pulled up, and instead of having someone else help me at the desk we were forced to wait.

This hotel is a good value, but you must be willing to walk to metro. Directions to the station were poor; so do not leave hotel without good directions. Lobby internet connection VERY expensive. Breakfast was DELICIOUS and service was EXCELLENT.

We had a room on the mainstreet and it brought us a lot of intervals during the night. After four nights we were very tired by the lack of good sleeping. The breakfast was every morning the same and we missed some fresh orange juice and real coffee. Once I only wanted to check my emailmessages and the provider was so slow that it tooks a lot of time before the check was possible. Therefore I had to pay for 7 minutes, while effective I used 1 minute. For the rest a good hotel with a pleasant staff .

At walking distance from the Gulbekian museum. Very close to the main metro line taking you to the city centre. Excellent price/quality. Rated 3* but deserves 4* level.

Hotel was very close to the Gulbankian Museum and to the Metro. We didn't want to drive so left the car in the parking garage which was a challenge to get into but safe. Ate in the dining room the first night and found the 14 Euro meal to be good value with excellent service. Helpful and friendly reception. Great stay.

A nice hotel with good service and friendly staff. Close to El Corte Ingles and San Sebastiao metro station. Seemed to be popular with mature travelers. Vile coffee at otherwise good breakfast. Definitely worth a stay.

The hotel is situated in the modern part of Lisbon and well connected to the ariport and to the city centre. The rooms are wonderful, spacious and confortable. Everything is clean organized to offer you the best. We advise Olissippo Marquês de Sá to all travellers who want a smart and pleasant sty in Libson without spending a fortune.

Not far away from the Hotel (some 500 m) you can find a shopping gallery with supermarket and a lot of shops reaching from electronics to beauty shops. In front of the shopping gallery there is a metro station (tube, underground). At some 200 to 300 m from the hotel you can find the Museum Calouste Gulbenkian. If you want to go to the airport by taxi you will arrive after some 30 minutes and you will pay more or less 8 euros (august 2007).

We are a family of three persons and just stayed for two nights for a sightseeing trip in Lissabon. And for that reason, the hotel was good because it was easy to reach by the public transport system. At first they wanted to charge more for the extra bed, but than they accepted the documents from venere.com.

A dicembre ho prenotato a New York e adesso a Lisbona.

This is a good hotel, well located close to two metro stops (San Sebastiao and Saldanha). The staff is extremely helpful and can help you in navigate in Lisbon in french and english. Only thing is internet access should be free, instead of 10 euros/hour.

This is a very good hotel, definitely one of the best value for money deals we had in Lisbon (55€/night, double room). The rooms are clean and spacious (although ours did not have a pretty view). The hotel is located in a quiet area, very close to San Sebastiao metro station (10 minutes from the city centre). The staff was very nice and helpful.

Best hotel I've ever stayed in at the Venere price. Room was spacious with a decent sized TV and adequate storage space. Bathroom had both bath and shower, with decent towels and other acoutrements. The breakfast was excellent, with lots of cold meats and cheese, fruits, yoghurts, pastries and scrambled eggs with local sausages. Machine coffee, but not a bad capuchino.

Over all our stay was good, however, improvement to the breakfast, ie good orange juice, pots for tea would have made a lot of difference.

For the 52 euros we paid for a double room, this is a superb hotel. Our room, understandably, was one of the two close to the elevator, but the hum of the airconditioning made this noise barely noticeable. Breakfast is good, the rooms are clean and large. Do be careful NOT to take any of the extras, like Wi-Fi for 10 euros for half an hour, as these are really overpriced. The neighborhood is very pleasant, just a few blocks from buses and subway.

The hotel is nice and clean, in a quiet area. However, the metro station is 7 - 10 min. walk from the hotel and by using a metro yoiu can reach almost every point in Lisbon. Towels were changed and the bathroom and the room cleaned every day. The staff is polite. We had a nice time there.
