Located in the city centre, on the summit of Lisbon's highest hill, directly opposite the Amoreiras, one of Lisbon's main shopping centres, Hotel Dom Pedro Palace is at the hub of activity in the heart of Lisbon, only 15 minutes from the international airport and 10 minutes from the city's historic downtown, nightlife and docks.
The hotel affords stunning views of Lisbon and the Tagus River from the 263 luxuriously decorated king bedded guest rooms. Furthermore, the Dom Pedro Palace offers two restaurants, two bars, a lounge in the lobby and a VIP lounge, located on the 19th floor, for the exclusive use of guests accommodated in the Tower rooms.

Traditional rooms, well maintained. We stayed in a corner suite which was spacious and had good views.Staff were friendly and helpful. On the downside, a simple lunch with water cost us in excess of E70 which we felt was overpriced.We also thought that the hotel would benefit from a proper bar/lounge area and the location wasn't central as advertised.

We were in a double room. The only problem we had was paying 15 Euros to swim in the hotel pool and the hot tub. The breakfast was increditable. The service surburb....travelling with my daughter just came off a 2 week cruise...stayed in Lisbon for 2 additional days...

For American standards, the hotel is quite a walk from the lively parts of Lisbon, but taxis are not very expensive. We loved the view of the water from our room, the room itself, and the room price. We weren't a big fan of the smoking allowed in public places or the outrageous prices at the in-house Italian restaurant, the morning brunch, or the drinks at the bar. All said, it suited our needs, and I would return.

Excellent hotel and good location where a short taxi ride takes you right into the centre. Courteous and very helpful staff. Additional costs of sundries (e.g. roonm service) a bit on the expensive side. Recommended.

HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL
By car
Follow the indications to Centro da Cuidade (the city centre) until Marquês de Pombal square, then turn right towards Amoreiras. Hotel Dom Pedro Palace is directly opposite the Amoreiras business centre.
By airplane
The best way to reach the hotel from the airport of Lisbon is to use the Taxi Voucher service. These vouchers are on sale at the Turismo de Lisboa counter in the terminal and are exchangeable at the taxi rank for a trip to Lisbon.
Hotel Dom Pedro Palace is 7 km from the airport and has a direct access to the motorway network.

Incorporated in the Il Gattopardo Italian restaurant is a bar, with a beautiful view from the outdoor terrace.
The bar is open from 12.30 p.m. until midnight.
Le Café Bar
The lounge bar Le Café Bar is located in the lobby, by the Le Café Bistro.
The bar is open from 7.00 a.m. until 1.00 a.m.
VIP Lounge
This lounge is located on the 19th floor, where Tower guests can enjoy stunning views over the city and the Tagus River. Here guests may enjoy continental breakfast, and throughout the day there is coffee, tea and refreshments as well as national and international newspapers, courtesy of the hotel.
