Good business oriented hotel, but still walking distance to historic Lecce. Driving to the hotel was hell, both the property and Venere should improve the maps to help customers in this kind of cities with twisty, one-way streets.

All'arrivo il facchino non ha nemmeno accennato ad aiutarmi col bagaglio, stanza pulita e spaziosa, bagno perfetto; verso le 21 un mio amico mi ha raggiunto mentre mi cambiavo e l'addetto alla reception mi ha informato che se restava anche 10 minuti doveva essere registrato e segnalato e la camera passava da singola a doppia, comportamento ignobile ed assurdo per un 4 stelle, mai successo in nessun altro posto, da dimenticare comunque un peccato perche' a parte il personale e la colazione assolutamente incompleta la locazione e' ottima a 2 passi dal centro

Very pleasant helpful staff. The hotel has seen it's glory days come and go. It has a lot of potential. The location is convenient, not to far outside the historical center.

to crowded with several groups of tourists (three busses each night) but the organization is not able to handle such a big number of hosts (breakfast room, elevator, parking, computer point).

Staff friendly. Although only 10 mins walk from old town - not a good area. Rooms were okay, but electrics in room were past their 'sell by' date - socket hanging out of wall, light not working, etc. Only Italian TV channels available on TVs.

We often visit Lecce as a favourite place when on holiday. Previously used another Hotel which we liked a lot in the business area. Only overnight this time so decided to use a different hotel and for Euros100, against Euros 160 quoted for the other hotel, we do feel value for money is there. Only slight drawback is the area but the approach along Via di Leuca to Porta Baggio is alright and did give us another entry route to the 'citta' and we discovered a delightful trattoria along the way. Quite a few business people staying and not many tourists but we were not yet into high season for tourism. We shall certainly use it again if not least for the pleasant and helpful attitude of the staff. Breakfast was adequate as cold buffets go but as we took a late breakfast we found that all the tables were set for six people and the other guests had used one place at each table individually and their dirty equipment was left and not cleared away. A polite request soon remedied this but we have not seen this practice before during our extensive travels throughout Italy! We had a spacious matrimonial room on the first floor with access to a huge communal terrace but with nothing much of a view.

Asked for quiet room away from street noise, elevators.First room directly in front of elevator. Though hotel 2/3 empty,most guests placed in adjacent rooms,and walls are paper thin, We were disturbed by flushing toilets, neighbors' phone calls.

This hotel is a 10 minute walk to the city center, which was for us not a problem. The hotel is old school elegant, which gives it a certain kitsch. Our room was clean and a decent size with a shared huge concrete terrace attached. It has its own parking which was a plus for us. Lecce is a beautiful city with incredible baroque architecture and a young energy. It is definitely worth a visit if you are in the south of Italy.
