For those who are sensitive to noise and plan to use the hotel in the coming weeks/months, I would suggest them to check if the pavement work outside (involving at times heavy machinery starting around 8pm?) has completed or not; or if a room away from the street is available. Personally, I'd not been bothered too much by the noise, and the hotel is quite ok, though a bit expensive, compared to hotels in other towns/cities in Italy, in general.
