Public areas were even nicer than anticipated. Distance from the beach misrepresented. Would have enjoyed the terrace of our room much more if chairs had been provided.
Food was of highest quality, surrounding parkland beautiful. Had trouble finding the hotel (we'd rented a car) because it's name was absent from the entrance sign, which announced "Casino".
Very little information at hotel about places to visit in Las Palmas OR Gran Canaria.

Beautifull accomodation in post colonial style, professional and friendly personal, good food, drinks and marveleous breakfast. Hotel is situated between the old and new city with a free sight on the harbour. Taxi's are cheep. When you plan a new years stay like we did then study the local habits about new years celebration before you go and: don't forget your tuxedo.
