Cadre naturel magnifique. Accueil sympathique. Chambre confortable. Restauration de bonne qualité sans être gastronomique. Plus adapté à un séjour qu'à un passage d'une nuit.

I really wished I had had more time to spend in this lovely area - we were only there for one night. It is a beautiful hotel - a few hundred years old and well maintained. It was certainly not a cheap hotel - and the continental breakfast was the most expensive we had on the trip. Still, the atmosphere was superb, the owners extremely helpful and we would definitely return. I even got to ride one of their bikes - first time in over 30 years!

A wonderful place to stay. Our one reservation was that dinner was not offered on a Wednesday evening unless you had signed up for half board. However, there are excellent restaurants of all kinds in the nearby La Roche Bernard

We chose this place on a trip of Western France for the evening of our 37th Wedding Anniversary. It was a disapointment as I didn't feel that the price was worth the amenities. We were given a room in the renovated barn with sloped ceilings and limited head room. The restaurant was not open as there was no cook.(we had e-mailed ahead to make a reservation and got no response.) Breakfast for the money was a disappointment at best. We live in Europe and have stayed in many accomodations. We would not recommend this place and had better lodgings at 2 star hotels later on the trip!
