Hi, This hotel is not a 4* at all he seems to be more 3 that 4, when i first check in the put me in one tiny room, with a very small bed, i went back down stair and ask for the room to be changed i told them i did not book a kid room but an adult and paid hight price for a 4*, and change me to another room bigger but for me not good enought, the room need to refurbish really very 80 decoration and bath room small, i ve stayed many time in Clarion Cork and Limerick so i really thought the standart will be the same is it why i ve book this hotel but really disapointed. The lobby area is nice but small the breakfast is the only good things. I am happy i was just staying one night. It was my first business trip in Norway and found out many hotel give you a very small room when you book for single. For me just a non sense, i ve stay in many hotel in my life and never saw such small bed in hotel. The location is great close to train station & shopping area.

FAR TOO NOISY! I had to get up early (at 6.00) the next morning, but could not sleep before late night (2.30?). Partly this was due to a pianobar/restaurant within the building (but felt like it was just outside my room) that kept on until midnight, partly because of much noise from the street. But with good ear-plugs, it would have been nice. VERY nice, large and very clean room!

There are 3 types of rooms available: with or without terrasse to the street and inbound rooms to the breakfast/lobby area. Via website it is not possible to select the preferred room specs. The breakfast is very good with special offers for kids including a special kids corner. If you wish to get a parking place in the nearby garage you need to enter it while reservation. The places are limited.

First time in this hotel. I have three matters I would like to comment: The bill we got at checkout, was about 1500 NOK more than I expected. We were told that the erranous price came from a fault in the restaurants electronic cash register, charging me with 6 dinners instead of two... However, when I made the young girl in the reception aware of this, she recalculated and gave me the correct bill. They also tried to charge us for a box of peanuts wich we did not eat. The largest issue in my opinion, was the noise from the aircondition. When trying to reach the ideal temperature of a bedroom (18 degrees centigrade), the AC made noises making it impossible to sleep. So we went for 22 degrees to make it quiet. This may be a matter for my room only (344). However, the hotel`s "healthy profile" got a breach there... On the positive side, the waitress Cathrine in the restaurant, impressed us. She was extremely service minded, and gave us a feeling of really being welcomed to have my dinner there.
