The Apartment-Hotel Almhof has one room and up to four-room apartments available, furnished with special taste, elegance, particular attention for every detail and disposes of every comfort.
Surrounded by beautiful mountains, the hotel is only a few walking minutes from the centre of Kirchberg and 6 km from the famous Kitzbühel. A picturesque path through meadows and fields will lead, after a 10-15 minutes walk, to the lake Kirchberg.
The Apartment-Hotel is an ideal starting point for excursions to the nearby mountains. During the summer months you can relax in deck chairs outside, close to the little heated outdoor swimming pool or on the terrace, enjoying the view on the mountain Rettenstein.
In the winter the little city will become a sports paradise: more than 200 km of ski slopes, 45 km cross skiing runs, 40 km walking trails, ice skating and trips with horse carriages. The slopes of the famous Kitzbühel area with its well known ski runs like Hanenkamm and the ski safari from Kirchberg to the pass of Thurn, are a paradise for skiers. A night ski slope on the mountain Gaisberg, open from 6.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. and a toboggan run are about 300 m away. A free ski bus to Kirch berg and Kitzbühel, stops in front of the hotel.
With a little extra charge you can go to a nearby hotel enjoying the large outdoor pool, the various saunas, jacuzzi, the fitness studio and solarium. A few golf courses are also close to the hotel.

non mi era mai successo di stare in un hotel a tre stelle e non avere per tre giorni di seguito un servizio di pulizie in camera! in tre giorni non sono mai entrati per pulire, fare i letti e cambiare gli asciugamani! Pessimo servizio.

Superb value for money. Excellent location and good restaurant. Relaxed, friendly and efficint. All you could ask for, with a four star hotel pool opposite available for a daily fee.

HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL
By car
From Munich-Kufstein take the exit Wörgl-Ost/Brixental and go on, passing the cities Hopfgarten, Westendorf and Brixen until arriving to Kirchberg. Follow the sign Aschau and after a few minutes you will arrive to the Hotel Almhof. Coming from Salzburg, take the direction to St. Johann in Tirol and Kitzbühel.
By train
Go from Munich to Rosengarten, change the train going to Wörgl and take the train to Kirchberg in Tirol (ca. 2h, 15 min.). From Salzburg you have to go to Kufstein, change the train going to Wörgl and take the train to Kirchberg in Tirol (ca. 2 h).

The Jochberg is a four-room apartment of 80 sqm (for 8 persons) with spacious living room, 2 separate bedrooms for 4 persons each, dining area, sitting area, kitchenette, 2 bathrooms and a big balcony.

After dinner you can have a drink at the cosy hotel bar or smoke a cigar from the humidor. The bar is popular for its Aprés-Ski meetings.
There is also a large room for children, equipped with toys, videotapes and books and also an outdoor playground with a pool.
