Stella Swiss Quality Hotel - Interlaken

This hotel should be graded a 2 star hotel and definetly not a 4 star. The rooms are small the double bed allocated to us was worse than the one offered in a youth hostel.No air conditioning ( for a 4 star hotel this is a disgrace) but client can hire a fan for 5 swiss francs a day... The breakfast was inadequate for the price one pays (233 Swiss francs for a double-room per day) Bacon and eggs were available for breakfast but we had to cook them ourself. We would never return to that hotel and we would recommend it to nobody.

Very nice hotel, had a small and cozy feel to it. The balcony with a view of the Alps was very nice.

There is some confusion on the correct address. I found two different addresses for this hotel. Hotel is close to the Interlaken West station (10 minute walk) and main part of town. Good breakfast selection and ability for guests to cook eggs and bacon themselves.

Superbly-run family hotel where everyone makes an effort to make guests feel valued. Restaurant meals were excellent with presentation of a standard that would earn Michelin stars

Great location. Only 5 minutes walk to the main street and train station. Also had car parking. Staff were very helpful and the hotel had a large indoor swimming pool. The room decor was old and revolting (leopard print carpet) so don't expect anything flash. But the room was very functional and comfortable and the shower was good. The hotel was expensive for what you got but everything seems to be expensive in Switzerland. However, the hotel gets extra points for packing us a great takeaway breakfast when we had to check-out before breakfast.

The room was clean and comfortable, the service excellent. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Good quality buffet breakfast was included, fresh and nicely presented.

Stella is in a good location - walking distance to the West Bahnhof and downtown, with nice mountain views. The breakfast buffet was excellent with local cheeses, fresh breads, fruit and eggs. The room was on the small side (single), but it had a balcony, which was nice. All in all a good value for the money.

Location was quiet. Rooms were very small but contained all the necessary amenities. Exterior of property could use some sprucing up (paint). Interior decor colors were a bit "over-the-top". Staff very helpful and well-versed about the area. Breakfast buffet (included in price) was quite good. Did not try any other meals but other guests seemed pleased with the dinners.

My Husband, friends and I had a great time at the Stella Swiss Q Hotel. The staff was more than helpful, and the indoor pool was a great place to relax after a long day of skiing. Thanks!
