Built in the Swiss chalet style, the Chalet Swiss Hotel enjoys a central and quiet location in Interlaken with magnificent view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains, and only a few minutes walking distance of the railway station and the city center.

You are well taken care of in this family-owned comfort hotel by its friendly and small team. Built in 1862 it is probably one of the most picturesque hotels in the area: pure Swissness! The guest house, behind the main chalet, dates back to 1983 and is built in modern wooden style.
The hotel offers traditional interiors, a professional service and numerous facilities, such as a rustic dining room, where you may taste a delicious Swiss dinner.

We were very satisfied. The hotel is nice looking chalet with a quiet and friendly atmosphere. Rooms are clean, equipment is in a Swiss (somewhat old-fashioned) style. Our room had a beautiful view to Jungfrau, Monch & Eiger.

We were welcomed by the most wonderful receptionist named Marianne who went out of her way to explain the various tour options in the area. The downside to this property is the noise from adjoining rooms and from the floor above. As long as you are prepared to be woken every time someone moves then it is ok.
HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL
By car
From Basel, Zurich, Berne: take motorway A2, A1, A6 via Thun, Spiez to Interlaken. Exit at number 24, in direction of Interlaken West until the railway station Interlaken West.
From Lugano and Lucerne: take motorway A2 via Stans Brünigpass, Brienz and change onto A8 in direction of Interlaken. Exit at number 24, turn right towards Unterseen, Gunten. At the next junction turn right in direction of Unterseen-Interlaken.
