The hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The room met our expectations. We are a family of five, including three small children. The room we stayed in was able to accomodate all of us comfortably. The hotel is located within walking distance (~15 minute walk) to downtown Innsbruck. The breakfast was average for European breakfast standards. The only drawback to this hotel is that it is located on a busy street and the noise from the passing vehicles was loud throughout the night. However, when visiting Innsbruck in the future my family will once again stay at the Hotel Heimgartl. Thank you for the hospitality!

We loved our short stay at Heimgartl. The setting is lovely, the rooms large, clean, and quiet, and the breakfast and breakfast room were fantastic.

The hotel is located on a relatively busy street which was always very noisy. It was quite hard to sleep at night. The back of the hotel is against a rock cliff which could be considered to be unique, however, it amplified the street noise and made the rooms darker. The pictures on the internet were misleading. Relative to other places we stayed in Europe, the price we paid at Heimgartl was too high for what we received in value. We would not return.

beautiful building, friendly & helpful staff (owners), good breakfast. A little difficult to go up the stairs with luggage and parking is dangerous coming out because of the curve in the road which is behind a wall and you cannot see traffic coming up.

The staff was excellent and very helpful. The hotel is easy walking distance to restaurants, etc. and there is free parking.

This is a great hotel. Even if it didn't have a lift and the bathroom didn't have a tub, it is still excellent, especially for its price. The room was spacious for our family of four, very clean and there was a lovely waterfalls by the side of the hotel which the kids liked very much. The dining room is charming and the breakfast so good. The location, though, is quite far from the city. It took us about 30 minutes on foot to get to the city center but we didn't mind the walk. Thanks to Margaret for a lovely stay.

front room on busy highway. put here, even though noise was stated to be an apparent problem. requested quieter room. moved there no problem. charged premium for noisy room upon departure. not happy with that. rear room quiet. would only recommend rear room.

great place for someone on a low budget. we had a 3 bed accommodation and it was large and clean. the hotel itself is quaint, beautifully appointed dining area which is unfortunately only the breakfast parlour as they don't serve meals here. the furniture is beautiful, old and the place is well kept. the breakfast is one of the better ones that i have eaten all over the world..their muesli and the accompaniments are unbelievable..we loved the place, it was really beautiful. the location was good but it wasn't where all the action is so anyone looking for a real central place should think twice about it. it is well connected as the bus and the tram both are pretty close to the hotel. the best part about the hotel is that it has a character of its own, loved it...

This hotel really was an excellent choice and it was beautiful to be in river/town/mountain facing room. The back rooms would have been very close to rock face.The breakfast buffet was splendid and the manageress could not have been more helpful - she was brilliant! Quite convenient for old town - about 5 minutes in bus or short walk then 5 mins by tram. Will be even better when foot bridge over river opens again after repairs.Would highly recommend - provided a front outlook room is available. RD GRANT Copthorne England

I found this hotel to be excellent! The staff was very friendly and knowlegeable. Very quiet, clean and will be back. It was a great set up for groups and look like it would be really nice for a romantic getaway as well. The service was fantastic all the way, with candy on the pillow at night.

It was a very short but nice stay at the hotel. The reception was friendly and help me a lot with the internet. Gave me direcctions to eat dinner, and the rooms were excelent...

GREAT HOTEL! a little hard to find, but its a great locations. amazing beds and staff was really welcoming...and rooms were very clean!
