The hotel offers double standard bedrooms with city or garden view as well as double rooms with Victoria Harbour and Hong Kong Island view, each featuring a queen size bed and a private bathroom with hairdryer.
All rooms are equipped with three direct dial telephones with voice mail and wake up call, individually controlled air conditioning, Wire and Wi-Fi Internet connection, remote control colour TV with satellite and cable channels, electronic safe, complimentary tea and coffee making facilities, refrigerator with beverages, radio with alarm clock and business desk with private fax line and data port connection and 220V AC/50 sockets.
Non-smoking rooms and rooms for disabled people are available on request.
Baby cots, extra beds and ironing facilities are available on request.

Am quite happy with our stay at The Hotel The Salisbury - YMCA of Hong Kong. The place is just a few steps away from the Bus Station, the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront, where you can watch the nightly Show of the Symphony of Lights, the Tsim Sha Tsui Station, a Catholic Church, Nathan Road, the Kowloon Park, the HK Cultural Center and Museums and the major shopping centers. Even going to Hong Kong Central is not a problem.
We also found the staff quite efficient and courteous. We arrived at about 12:30 a.m. but the guard and the reception staff was very alert and cordial.
The request for additional bed for our second night was also well attended from the time we booked, to check-in, to actual implementation.
Checking out was also brief and well attended including the accommodation for temporary left luggage.
I would surely book again in this hotel on my future travels to Hong Kong, and would even recommend it to friends.

fantastic location, with fabulous views from harbourview rooms.A real gem.....don't be put off by YMCA misconceptions...this is full of all types of people who want good service and an ideal location. Will definitely go back!!!

The Salisbury is everything you could want from a Hong Kong hotel. Only wish we had been able to book for the New Year as well but was full, not suprising given location. The hotel is just next door to Peninsular Hotel and Star Ferry terminal. The restaurants were very good value, afternoon tea in 4th floor lounge was a buffet that included everything from cake,scones and jam to noodles and curry, for the price of a cup of tea in the Penisular, the restaurant was beautifully furnished with views over the Hong Kong Harbour to the Peak.
