The hotel was in an excellent location. Some of the staff were very helpful, everyone spoke english. The public areas, the beach access, and the surroundings were very nice. However, do not expect the same from the rooms. I think they are in the process of renovating the rooms, so could have had an old room, but our room had a huge mold spot on the ceiling, had airconditioning problems and dead mosquitos all over the walls. Other than that as stated its in a great location, close to bars, clubs, restaurants, and shopping.

The hotel location is good, just beside the beach, although the beach is not great. The rooms in the hotel are poorly maintained. There is A/C in the room, but you need to pay extra 5 euro per day in order to use the A/C. Call the hotel directly you may get a rate much better than booking through here. Be aware of mosquito.
HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL
By airplane
The Heraklion N. Kazantzakis international airport lies about 25 km away from the property and hosts daily flights serving various locations. Bus and taxi services connect the airport to Hersonissos.
On leaving the airport, take the first exit on the right towards Irakli city. Follow this direction for approximately 2 km and then take the motorway 90 Irakli-Sitia, following the indications to Hersonissos. After about 20 km you will find the exit sign to Hersonissos town. Exit the motorway and proceed on the main road, following the directions that lead to the beach road.
By boat
There are daily regular and high-speed ferry services connecting the Athenian port of Piraeus to the harbour of Heraklion. A frequent bus service connects the harbour to Hersonissos, and taxis are easily found at the end of the wharf.
