Hotel Heidelberg is a family run hotel in Heidelberg.
Located 6 km from Heidelberg's Old Town, with the famous castle and the stone bridge, this charming hotel provides modern services and traditional German atmosphere at competitive rates.
On-site facilities include Ernas Gut' Stubb restaurant serving delicious local specialties, a Finnish sauna and a solarium, where you may relax after a busy day of sightseeing in Heidelberg.
Please note: the restaurant will be closed from July, 28th to August, 17th 2008.

The hotel restaurant was closed. we were NOT told this when we booked. A dish of scrambled eggs does not make an indifferent continental breakfast an American Buffet Breakfast. When booking we asked for a room with Bath. Our booking was confirmed. When we arrived there was no bath.

Room was in the basement and next to but slightly below the drive round area - not ideal. Location on fringes of town - restaurant shut (holiday for chef!) so we ate at nearby Greek (!) place. Very helpful staff though and hotel felt very Bavarian.

Nice rooms with firendly staff. Adequate breakfast and very accommodating for children. Abit far from the city centre and sights but have a tram service right outside and takes about 10mins into town. So if you want to get away from crowds at night this is the place to stay. They also have a restuarant where you can have a meal at night but also have other places down the road. Would stay here again.
