Hotel Florida, housed in a wonderful building of colonial appearance built in 1836, is located in Havana historical centre, which will surely captivate its guests with its charm and architectural beauty.
The hotel is just a few meters away from Arm's Square, on a lively corner in Obispo Street, and the surrounding area is full of shops, art galleries and attractive museums that create a magic atmosphere.
Among the services, guests will find a shop, lift, 24-hour room service, meeting room, Internet Point, laundry service, a reception open all day long, two bars and a restaurant.

This was my third stay at Florida and I found it significantly improved. Good quality/price ratio.

We really enjoyed our ten days in the heart of the old town. The window of our room on the first floor overlooked a small inner courtyard, so it was cool and quiet - a contrast to the busy street outside. The room was spotless, the staff pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was unexciting, but all in all we would thoroughly recommend the Florida and definitely stay there again.

I came to Havana 7 years ago, I stayed in Nacional De Cuba, then Florida hotel.I prefered Florida hotel, hence why I came back 7 years later.Its location is perfect,its service is excellent,the hotel has the best coffee in my books,(the only thing that changed is that the statue at the entrance lost its arm)and the interior is superb + has the history.The hotel could improve by fixing the air-conditioning in the rooms,plugs and lights (half of them work),and to have an iron+ board in the rooms. This seems to be the re-occuring thing across Cuba,unless you're in the 5 star hotel even there there'll be a light that doesn't work).

This was my second stay at the Hotel Florida, and I was disappointed to find that, although I had booked more than 3 months in advance specifying a double room, on arrival I was told no double room was available. Also, be aware that non-white guests are likely to be challenged on entry by over officious security staff intent on excluding Cuban nationals from the hotel. Otherwise, expect a comfortable and pleasant stay.
