The location and rooms were great. The receptionist was new to Germany. I was trying to obtain transportation information to get to a couple of addresses and I was unable to get any help. Hotel was great. Breakfast as usual was too expensive to partake and the train station offered wonderful options.

Excellent choice if you are looking for a place to stay close to the train station. Its also across the road from the airport shuttle. The receptionists were very kind and friendly, the blond guy of the afternoon shift should learn more english since his information during the check in was confusing. The room was small but it was okay for a single traveler. shower was DIVINE!!!

Location was nice, near railstation, tourist buses and airport buses. Employees at reception weren't very nice. We couldn't do the check-in till 14h. that was really disgusting: we wanted to rest after the journey. We had to leave the room at 11 (very early, at least in Spain...). We had booked the room with breakfast included but they didn't seem to know nothing about that and we had to pay more (after that, we didn't like the breakfast).

The bill was exactly the double of the sum stated in my reservation through Venere.....!!!! Furthermore they pretended to be paid in advance (one double room for three days). I do strongly hope this will remain the first and only bad experience in this sense. Obviously I DO NOT recommend this hotel to anybody looking for a good (but not too expensive) location in Hamburg.

Wir wurden kommentarlos in einem Nebengebäude untergebracht, in dem zur Zeit gebaut wird. Meine Bitte auf ein ruhiges Zimmer wurde insofern nachgekommen, als dass das unsere auf einen tristen Hinterhof führte. Ruhig war es dennoch nicht, da ein lautes (Schwimmbad-)Gebläse zu hören war. Das Zimmer war nicht hässlich, nicht dreckig, aber es stank erheblich nach Zigarettenrauch. Insgesamt leider alles sehr enttäuschend.

Great location right next to the train station and access to all city transportation. they included for free a pass for use of bus and trams for our entire stay.

The hotel has a great location opposite to the main train station, underground (U-BAHN,S-BAHN) and close to the principal atraccions of Hamburg. The relationship between price/quality is really nice. The employees in the reception were not specially professional with the information for the near garage or tourist information for visit the city. But the hotel is really convinient and nice, and the rooms are very good.

Right beside the main train station. Very close to the city center. Very good when you arive by train. Indside and outside the station is not a safe place late at the evening, but that is what you must to ekspect. It was not anything, that was a problem. It is a good hotel for the price. But do not ekspect luxus.

My friend and I went this past summer in the midst of Germany's World Cup. We were impressed at not only the location of the hotel, but its beauty, cleanliness, hospitality and rooms. The hotel is located directly across the main train station. We literally walked across the street and checked in. The rooms were beautiful, beds were very confortable, huge bathroom- actually it had 2 bathrooms! The breakfast was good and there was always plenty of it. Staff was friendly and very helpful. I will defintely stay there again! It was one of my best hotel experiences ever and the best one I stayed in during my stay in Germany!!!!!!!! It was close enough to downtown (literally there after crossing the train station), but far enough for it not to be a major distraction in the rooms. I loved it!!!!!!!!!!!
