Single traveller

I stayed in a single bedroom. The room was very small. The bathroom was so small that actually only shower stall and a toilet was in and when you used the toilet the door of the bathroom could not be closed because of lack of space. The basin was outside the bathroom, in the room near to the door. Annenstrasse is near to Budapester Strasse, so if you stay in a room which looks to the direction of Budapester Strasse (i.e. to inner court of the hotel), then you only can sleep with closed windows because of the noise of Budapester Strasse. When I stayed in the hotel the average temperature in Hamburg was above 30, even at night it was very hot, but there was no airconditioning in the room. So I hardly could sleep while I stayed there (either because of the noise if I opened the window or the hot room-temperature if I closed the window). I stayed in Hamburg as a tourist so rather stayed in the room only at night and I missed quiet night rest after walking all day in the city. Positive things were that the room and bathroom was clean and in good condition, breakfast was plentiful and nice and staff was helpful. Nevertheless if I stay in Hamburg again I will choose another hotel.

HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL
By car
From the South: drive on the highway A7 towards Flensburg through the new Elbtunnel. At Bahrenfeld exit 28, turn right (centre). After about 4 km on the main road (Bahrenfelder Chaussee/Stresemannstraße) you will reach the Neuer Pferdemarkt. After the first traffic light, turn right (Neuer Pferdemarkt), then left into Wohlwillstraße and finally left again. The hotel lies just in front.
From the North: exit motorway A7 at Bahrenfeld and turn left.
By train
Get off at Hauptbahnhof (main station). Take underground line U3 (yellow line), direction Barmbek and get off at St. Pauli station. Follow Budapester Straße (direction Telekom building). After 200 meters turn left into Clemens-Schultz-Straße. At the next junction turn right into Annenstraße; the hotel lies at the end of the street.
By airplane
From the Fuhlsbüttel airport you can reach the hotel in 20-25 minutes by taxi or in 50 minutes by public transport. Take the airport express shuttle to the main railway station. Change to to underground line U3 (yellow line), direction Barmbek and get off at St. Pauli station. Follow Budapester Straße (direction Telekom building). After 200 meters turn left into Clemens-Schultz-Straße. At the next junction turn right into Annenstraße; the hotel lies at the end of the street.
You may also take bus line 110 to Ohlsdorf. Change to underground line U1 (blue line) to Kellinghusenstraße, where you take underground line U3 (yellow line) to St. Pauli station. You will reach the hotel after a 7 minute walk.
