I spent two nigths around new years' eve at the Gollner basically because I had no alternatives. All other hotels were sold out. And now I know why the Gollner was not. 1. I paid (quite a lot) for a double room and they gave me a single with an extra bed. 2. the room was incredibly small 3. the room was incredibly cold. 4. So I asked for a heater in the afternoon, leaving them about five hours to take it in the room, but they came only in the evening when I was taking a shower. 5. I told the guy with the heater to come back later, 'cause I was taking a shower, and he knocked three times in five minutes. Really annoying.

The Gollner is a very attractive hotel and we enjoyed our stay. Our room was lovely. Unfortunately, it was at the front and was extremely noisy from traffic, etc. Apart from that, breakfast was very good, and the staff were very efficient and friendly. We particularly liked the parrot!!
