The Cumbria Grand Hotel was built in 1880 is located 15 minutes from the M6 and is only six miles from Lake Windermere.
Set in 20 acres of private gardens and woodlands and overlooking Morecambe Bay you will receive a warm and friendly welcome at this charming Victorian Hotel. There is an outdoor tennis court, putting green, children's play area and woodland walk while indoors there is a full sized snooker table, table tennis table and dart-board.
Conference
Our Victorian Suite offers 3000 sq. ft. of well -appointed space and has its own stage. Complimenting this suite we have four other rooms which are ideal for smaller meetings or conferences of any type. All rooms can be equipped with audio visual aids if required.
Banqueting
In addition to conferences the Victorian Suite is a popular venue for special occasion including Wedding's, Dinner Dances, 21st, Retirement Parties, Anniversaries and Christmas Party nights.
Jacobean Bar

i think the hotel needs sprucing up a bit, it seems a bit run down. the blue paint outside is awful and makes it look really tacky!! and the price of one pint of lemonade with a splash of blaccurent is riddiculous, £2.50, which is more than a pint of larger!!!!!!!

THE HOTEL WAS GENERALLY CLEAN BUT WAS IN NEED OF REFURBISHMENT THE DECOR AND FITTINGS WERE LOOKING VERY TIRED.
