Hotel is good for a night stop over. On the main road, but not close to beach. However, to go out in the evening is not very convenient. Rooms are clean but there was no fridge no minibar as stated. It is built on terraces, so the childern playground isnt big. Staff is not visible between dinner and breakfast. It is located hill and surrounded by trees, so it is quite fresh.

We chose this hotel because we needed to stay in Giovinazzo in order to research family history. From the web site, we thought the hotel was in the center of town and on the sea. In fact it was outside of town and had only a sea view from the higher floors (we had to ask for our room to be moved to a higher floor in order to enjoy the sea view.) There is a nearby train track which is quite noisy for the rooms in the back of the hotel and even in the front where our room was, you could hear (muffled) and feel the trains as they went by. The staff was very congenial and the staff at the front desk were very helpful with all our requests and spoke English which helped us in our search for family history and to make contacts later in our trip. The rooms were clean although ours was a bit small. The beds are hard by American standards but quite normal by Italian standards. The bathroom had a shower stall (a welcomed sight) which is almost unheard of in Italy. Although the room was air conditioned, it was very warm the first night but was fixed the next day. The breakfast buffet was fairly standard with what we found at other hotels as we toured around Italy. In general, this hotel was quite adequate for our purposes and our short stay (two nights.) It is conveniently located between Giovinazzo and Bari.
