MOST OF THE FACILITIES LISTED ON THE WEBSITE WERE NOT AVAILABLE/DID NOT EXIST.THE HOTEL IN THEORY OFFERS THE FACILITIES OF IT'S SISTER HOTEL BUT IN REALITY WEW WERE NOT ALLOWED TO USE THEM!

Most of the facilities advertised on website were not at hotel....no indoor pool,jacuzzi,sauna,or turkish bath.Hotel was very run down with very poor breakfast.staff were friendly though

Although the hotel is in need of refurbishment we felt that is was still value for money as it only cost us 368 euro for the week. The staff were very friendly and competent. The room was spacious and the breakfast adequate. It didn't bother us that the hotel was situated up a hill as we walked into town and caught a taxi back. We would recommend the hotel but if you want 5 star quality we should be prepared to pay 5 star prices.

Lack of minibus shuttle service to Funchal downtown. Food for lunch and dinner awfull. No garden. Friendly service
