Overall a nice hotel with pool. Good food at the restaurant. Easy to find due to signs and located on a main road. Close to Ciampino airport.

Stayed just one night to be close to Ciampino for an early flight out. Efficient and friendly English speaking receptionist. We had a room overlooking the terrace which may have been quieter than rooms overlooking the road. Very good meal in the hotel restaurant. Plenty of choice at breakfast, ham, cheese, croissants, rolls, cereal and juices. Would use this hotel again.

Nice hotel, good restaurant, but lack of commitment from the staff. Nothing was given, you have to ask for everything. No hotelinformation on the room. Just a "stay-over-night-factory". And if that´s what you want it is an excellent hotell.

The room was comfortable, however, walls very thin. Would have been nice to have a soap dish in the shower! The view was gorgeous! We used the train in Frascati to get into Rome. However, there was no transportation to the train station early in the mornings. We did alot of walking. Most of the staff proved to be helpful. Some minor language difficulties, but overall it was okay. Food in hotel restuarant was good.

We only stayed 1 night. The resturant was very good, english spoken and they were helpful translating the menu! Our only complaints are that the walls are paper thin and our neighbours came in very late and got up very early and the air conditioning seemed to not work at night??!! so it wasn't the best nights sleep! Everything else was good we were able to check in early about 10am it's about a 10 minute walk (uphill) to frascati and close to ciampino airport about 50 euros for the taxi.

Villa Mercede is situated in an area overlooking Rome, which is only a few km far, and can be reached from the international airport Fiumicino in less than 30 minutes and just 15 minutes from Ciampino airport.

HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL

By car:
coming from the north, GRA exit 21 Tuscolana direction Frascati.From the south, motorway RM-NA exit Monte Porzio Catone, or Torrenova (just after the exit Roma sud).

By train:
from center railway station Termini, train to Frascati, or underground A Line till Anagnina stop and the bus CO.TRA.L. direction Frascati.

By plane:
from Fiumicino to railway Termini Terminal and then follow instruction above.

Characterized by a large park all around the building, the hotel has a car and bus parking.

And in the green area of Castelli Romani by request a shuttle bus will take guest from and to Frascati railway station.
