Ours was a short, one-night stay so we didn't meet any other people. There were public works going on at the front of the hotel so the parking was a bit of a problem but it wasn't any reflection on the hotel. The breakfast buffet was very good.

Excellent service & competent staff. Not exactly the Ritz but a nice clean hotel across the street from the beach. Of the three rooms we had reserved one was literally next to the Reception. As the hotel was fully booked we were not able to change rooms. Our children enjoyed the playroom, and the lady running it is patient with kids and taught them to make some handicrafts. We would return.

The staff at the Il Negresco are what made this stay so enjoyable. They were extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms were very clean but quite small. However, the windows must be triple paned because although we were facing the street right near the bus station, you could not hear a peep of traffic. I thought the location was great and would definitely stay here again.

It was a very good hotel for a 1 night stay and the servise was good considering I was not a long stay holiday maker in the very popular resort of this part of Italy.

HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL

By car
From Pisa Airport:
Take the A12 Motorway towards Genoa. Exit at Versilia and go right towards Forte dei Marmi. After approximately 1.5 km/0.9 miles, go left at the junction and follow indications toward the city centre (centro). Travel all the way to the seafront, then turn right. The hotel is located on the right, after approximately 1 km/0.6 miles.

From Florence:
Take the A11 Motorway towards Prato-Viareggio, then take the A12 Motorway towards Genoa. Exit at Versilia and go towards Forte dei Marmi, then follow the above directions.

From the North:
Take the A12 Motorway towards Livorno. Exit at Versilia and go towards Forte dei Marmi, then follow the above directions.

METHODS OF PAYMENT
Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. In case your chosen hotel needs a deposit, this information will be included in the "Cancellation policy" section and the deposit will have to be settled directly with the pre-selected property. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE".

CANCELLATION POLICY
- from 29 to 15 days prior arrival = penalty equal to 3 nights; - from 14 to 7 days prior arrival = penalty equal to 50% of the total of the stay (deposit); - after the 6th day prior arrival or in case of no-show = penalty equal to the entire stay; - in case of advanced departure the penalty will be equal to the entire stay you reserved.
You may cancel your reservation without penalty up until 30 days before your arrival date, by accessing the Your Reservations page. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE".
