Hotel in una buona posizione e cioè proprio di fronte al mare - davanti alla famosa "Capannina" ... bello perchè alla mattina ti svegli e vedi il mare ... piccolo balcone attrezzato con tavolino anche!... unico neo che la camera é veramente retrò ... niente di moderno (come il resto dell'Hotel!) .. ma per il prezzo a Forte dei Marmi va più che bene ... e poi é in un'ottima posizione. Colazione un pò poverella....

This hotel is far overrated by 4 star rating. Even 3 stars is a stretch. It look more like a place for old people ready to retire or good place for family with very small children than a high class hotel in exclusive resort area it's advertised. The only good part is a location which is close to the beach and the center of town. I do not beleive I would stay there again. One more thing. While in Forte dei Marmi I located a published rate for this hotel which were much lower than the rates offered by Venere.com. When discussed with hotel administration they refused to consider it and insisted on paying far higher rates from venenre.com

HOTEL LOCATION IS FANTASTIC AND WE HAD A WONDERFUL VIEW FROM OUR ROOM OVER LOOKING THE SEA, BUT AT NIGHT UNTIL 5AM, THE NOISE FROM THE CAPPANINA ("A LOCAL NIGHTSPOT") DIRECTLY OPPOSITE THE HOTEL WAS UNBELIEVABLE. BY THE SECOND NIGHT WE GAVE UP TRYING TO SLEEP AND STAYED OUT UNTIL THE EARLY HOURS OURSELVES!

The staff was wonderful and they went out of their way to help me on numerous occasions. The breakfast buffet was very good and the staff was always cheerful and courteous. A beach tag would have set me back about $30 per day, which I think is too much. The hotel location was fine, and I could even see the water from my balcony. I would definitely stay at this hotel again I do question the descrepency between the price venere.it quoted ($630 ) and the posted price on the door of the room.

The staff were wonderful--friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were tasty and plentiful. The balcony had a nice view of both the ocean and mountains. The only drawback was the taxi ride from the train station to the hotel--nearly 20 euros. The beaches are all private, but the staff directed us to one that was near the hotel, but less expensive than some others.
