The resort is little bit far from the hotel. The hotel bus services is good since there is no public transportation nearby. The breakfast is excellent with good view.

The Paradiso Garden is just down the hill from the Paradiso Terme, a true four star hotel. Guests of the Garden are encouraged to use the Terme's facilities, which are really nice. Paradiso Garden is an older facility, clearly built as a separate hotel some years before the Terme and purchased later. The Garden has a nice warm mineral pool with a small concrete deck, umbrellas and chairs, but the Terme's pool is great. It is much larger, with two sections--one warm, cloudy, heavily laden mineral water; the other cool and clear mineral water. The tiled deck is beautiful, with expansive views, nice chairs and umbrellas, and drink service, which you don't get at the Garden pool. A note to Americans and other clean freaks--don't expect spotless, heavily chlorinated pools at either facility, or anywhere in Ischia. The emphasis is on natural, healthful mineral water, and while the hotels' pools are brushed down everyday, they have algae in the hard to reach places. Breakfast is included in the room price, as usual for Italy. Breakfast at the Garden is the standard Continental fare; you can walk up to the restaurant at the Terme to get a wider selection plus a few buffet style hot foods (scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, etc.) We did not find the hot breakfast worth the short walk after the first time, though, and ate the remainder of our breakfasts at the Garden. We did eat two dinners at the Terme restaurant. They have one seating at 7 - 7:30 PM; fixed price, five courses with a small but varied selection for most courses that change from day to day. We thought the food was pretty good and reasonably priced, with very good dinner service. The menu, though, is geared toward the predominately German guests, with one of the courses generally some kind of cold fish, but we always were able to find items that we enjoyed.
