Staff were excellent (bar staff slightly less so). One of our rooms wasn't ready for us when we arrived which was a nuisance. For the rating and price of the room we felt that there was a very slight faded feel (dirty marks around light switches etc). Picky, but at those prices, why not? Overall maybe a bit old-fashioned and stuffy for our taste....

For a 5* Luxury hotel we were disappointed that there were no in-room tea/coffee making facilities. In addition, and perhaps because breakfast is not included in the room rate, the choice of food at breakfast was not as good as we had expected and the service was poor.
