Hotel San Paolo Ferrara - Venere.com reception The completely renovated San Paolo Hotel is situated in Ferrara in a quiet position within the Medieval walls, close to Piazza Trento Trieste, the wonderful 12th-century Cathedral, the Estense Castle dating back to 1385, Corso Ercole I d'Este, a masterpiece of architect Biagio Rossetti and Palazzo dei Diamanti, hosting the National Art Gallery and many Modern Art exhibitions.

We had a very nice time in Ferrara and the hotel was just the way we like: simple, confortable, and near the places we intended to visit. A familiar atmosphere, very polite attendants.

We loved the town of Ferrara and the location of the hotel was great, but there was no breakfast and the croissant from the vending machine was awful. The food in the restaurants in the town was was exceptional as was the town iteself. But the room was very sparse and expensive considering there were no ammmenities.

HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL

By car
From the A13 Bologna-Padova-Venezia, exit at Ferrara Sud, take the first entry to the city, drive along via Bologna for approximately 5 km. Once arrived in proximity to Porta Reno, turn right and you will find the hotel San Paolo.

By train
From the railway station take the bus number 2 (remember to buy the ticket at the railway station) and get off at via S.Romano, 50 metres to the hotel.
