With a modern and cosy decoration, Hotel Cruz Alta welcomes its guests in a totally refurbished building located in the wonderful town of Fátima.
It is said that, six times during the year 1917, the Virgin Mary appeared to three novices that belonged to the diocese of Leiria. A basilica was built in 1928, and millions of pilgrims have visited the site since then, which is now one of the most popular for Catholics from around the world.
The atmosphere of intense spirituality and the importance of Fátima have been attested by the visits of two Popes: Paul VI and John Paul II.
This cosy property has several services to offer, such as a laundry service, a reception open all day long, an Internet Point, a TV lounge and a bar.

Hotel pulito con personale gentile, colazione di qualita' inclusa nel prezzo. Siamo stati veramente bene e lo consiglierei a chiunque. Unica nota negativa, in caso di soggiorni piu' lunghi, la moquette in camera e l'assenza di frigobar.

First time at Cruz Alta. Tea & coffee facilities in room would have been appreciated. Cold buffet breakfast was reasonable for price of 4.5 euros. As weather wasn't good choice of a hot breakfast would have been better but no place seem to do them. All in all excellent value for money.

Très bonne situation par rapport au sanctuaire. Personnel très aimable. Pas de restaurant dans l'hôtel. Nous avons un peu tourné en voiture dans Fàtima avant de trouver l'hôtel.

We made a trip in Portugal and booked one night in the hotel to see by night and by daylight the catholic sanctuary. The hotel is ideally situated near the sanctuary. The hotel hasn't got a restaurant. We arrived late (21h) on the 31st of July. To our surprise the city of Fatima was very quiet. You even couldn't find a restaurant to eat at that time in the surroundings.

Neues, schönes Hotel in direkter Nähe zur Pilgerstätte in Fatima. Empfehlenswert! New, nice hotel near pilgrims-place in Fatima. Recommendable!
