The lobby was beautiful - modern and chic. Everything was great from staff to breakfast to the room itself. My only complaint was that while our view of the marina was very nice, at night it was very noisy with teenagers walking around until 2-3am. Not the hotel's fault, just made the room location less than perfect.

Nice hotel by the marina. Lovely view from hotel veranda. Not so good staff as some of them did not speak english well. Some misunderstanding because of that. Bathroom not clean. Hair on bathroom floor and toilet. Nice rooms, but hotel Eva should be rated as 3 star instead of 4 star. Breakfast buffet was standard. Only water in minibar.

The Hotel EVA is just one of these typical 4-star hotels you find in all center-towns. It has no charm, rooms are not really spacious but have all necessary comfort. Overall, it's not bad, totally standard for business travel.
We were in Faro for leisure and tourism. It was by far the most expensive hotel of our trip in Algarve but really not the nicest hotel we stayed in. It was just 'ok'. No extra-mile, nothing surprising. The view on the marina from the balcony was great.
Another drawback is that they have only 6 or 7 car parking spaces reserved and we had to seek for a public (and paying) place to park our car. It was a bit messy because the marina area is quickly crowded.
As a final note, we stayed there in Mid-November, the price of the room was 98 Euros.
