Stayed here 21/4/08 for one night. Room 301. Paid 48.75 Euro prpn including breakfast.
We used this just for a practical overnight stop prior to flying home from Faro, and it was suitable for that purpose. It is located on a nondescript main road at the ‘back’ of the city, but is only about 10 minutes walk to the city centre where there are several restaurants; there is no restaurant in the hotel. The room was quite pleasant, alright but nothing of note, as was the hotel generally. We did not have breakfast as we had to leave early. The hotel arranged a taxi for us to the airport.

Access to internet is ridiculously expensive -
it should not be written on Venere that there is WiFi if prices are 5 times higher than in any other hotel.

Very pleasent experience.
We got a room on the 4th floor with a great view after i specified in my request for a room above the 2nd floor. The staff were friendly and warm.
The room was not big but very clean and comfortable. Good range of programs available on cable TV. Breakfasts were simple affairs but again, totally fine for the price range.
The 'singing' of the hunds when the church bell rang might be a disturbance to some but certainly not to us:-)
Highly recommanded! and remember to ask for a room facing the backside of the hotel! there you get plenty of afternoon sun and view of the sea.
