Lying in a quiet suburb on the outskirts of the city, the Murrayfield Hotel & Lodge is a traditional Scottish hotel in Edinburgh, close to Murrayfield Stadium - home of the Scottish Rugby Union. The hotel is situated on a main road, only a short drive away from the heart of the Athens of the North - as Edinburgh is sometimes called due to its cultural and intellectual history. Given that Haymarket railway station is nearby, this cosy hotel is also very easy to reach.

Advertised as WiFi in all rooms but had to work in the bar - resturant not available 2 nights of my stay - no blinds in bathroom - no double glazing.

By train
From Haymarket Station: as you exit the station, turn left onto Haymarket Terrace. Walk straight down this road until it becomes Corstorphine Road. The Murrayfield Hotel & Lodge is situated on the right-hand side of the road.
