Don't bother.
TV did not work.. asked for it to be looked at, nothing!
Later, someone did walk straight into my room and gave me a towel!?
The floor would have been more comfortable than the bed.
I could go on but the memory of the stay is too disturbing!

Many things broken in room (including handle to turn shower off and on). Very noisy, was kept awake both nights by roudy guests running up and down the stairs and calling out. This went on until early morning. Good bus service into Edinburugh from front door of hotel. Very large room with lots of beds.

THIS HOTEL SHOULD BE URGENTLY RENEWED. THE ROOMS ARE VERY SMALL AND THE MATRESSES ARE TOO SOFT; THE TV IS AN OLD MODEL; THE BATHROOMS ARE OLD; THE KITCHEN DOES NOT HAVE GOOD VENTILATION BECAUSE THE WHOLE HOTEL IS VERY SMELLY SPECIALLY IN THE MORNING WHEN THE BUTLER IS COOKING BREAKFAST.
ONE OF THE MALE RECEPTIONISTS IS VERY UNFRIENDLY.
THE WEB PAGE SAYS IT IS 5 MINUTES AWAY FROM THE CITY CENTER, WELL THIS IS NOT TRUE!!!
IT IS 15-20 MIN BY BUS AND ONE HOUR ON FOOT.
ONE MORE THING, THE ROOM DOORS ARE LEFT OPENED BY THE CLEANING STAFF. THIS IS SOMETHING VERY STRANGE AS EVERYBODY COULD ENTER THE ROOMS AT ANY TIME!

Generally the accommodation was acceptable, but as the management were in the midst of redecoration etc. (the lounge was unavailable for use by guests) the price should have been reduced accordingly.

I would not ever stop in this hotel again. On one morning at breakfast i had mould on my toast and the person serving was impolite and miserable.I also had to pay on arrival at the hotel before i saw the room.In the car park there were youths hanging about which was not acceptable to the security of my vehicle
