Good tourist hotel separated only by a small road from the lakeside promenade. Beaches, restaurants, bars and the town centre only minutes away. If Desenzano built a by-pass to take traffic away from the lake shore road, this would be a perfect location. Fond memories of the Europa anyway - especially the staff...

Ideal situation for town centre, lakeside and local public transport. Very welcoming people, clean and comfortable rooms. Restaurant menus had something for all tastes, good amounts of food and wines at reasonable prices. Only one downside;if you have a room with a lake view, you have to contend with the noise(which with the window closed is tolerable)from the main road which runs past the hotel's front door. Star of the hotel is Emma who is friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about all local events and places. She speaks excellent English and French as well as her native Italian.

A localizacao é boa, a beira do lago. The room was not 100% clean and the wake up service didn't work. On the check out date, an employee knocked at the door to take us out the room... the hotel is well located and the breakfast very nice!

Our room had air conditioning and was clean and spacious. We asked for a lake view and were given a large room with a balcony and a superb view of the lake. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was quiet. Location is good - only a few minutes walk from the main centre and ferry services across the lake. Recommended - we would definitely go back again.

The staff were very friendly and the room was clean, but the hotel is dingy and has a poor ambience. The restaurant has a very limited menu, and the food was not appetising. We cut short our stay and moved on!

A good hotel, well located on the shores of Lake Garda i.e. convenient for walking into the town and around the lake, and for car and ferry travel - the boarding stage is only 5/10 minute walk from the hotel. Friendly staff, good food (we went half board) with reasonably priced wines.

A wonderful location. Shame the weather was so cold, but the hotel was warm and welcoming. Staff do not speak wonderfully good English, but it was fun communicating and there was never a problem! Lady in charge of dining room is a marvel! A walking tourist guide! Definitely take her advice on places to go etc. Spa in Sirmione is not really worth a trip! (To be fair, this wasn't one of the places she recommended anyway!) Train Station is a 15-20 minute walk away with good services to Venice/Verona/Milan etc. Buses stop just up the street and Tourist office all local. All in all, VERY satisfied with a lovely hotel in a super report

We had a great stay at the Europa. We loved the area as well and as we had a rental car we decided to come back the following week. The Europa was full so they directed us to their "sister" hotel right next door, the Aurora. We stayed two more nights and had more time to explore all around the Lake Garda area, which is beautiful. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Several speak english as well as several other languages. The price is a little high compared to other "tourist" areas of Italy but for the Lake Garda area it seems to be the norm. The food in the restaurant at the Europa and the super attention of EMMA was delightful. I will highly recommend both the Europa and the Aurora to my friends and family and hope to go back soon. The resort was lovely, but a bit expensive, two resturants next to hotel good and reasonably priced. Excellent base to explore further Venice, Verona, and the lake by boat. All in all fantastic holiday.

We stayed in the Europa this summer and had an absolute ball. The staff were amazing and even through the language barrier they did everything they could to sort out anything we needed and always with a smile! The hotel is very centrally placed and has easy access to everywhere - shops, town centre, restaurants, boats, train and buses. We visited Venice, Verona and Milan all from the local train station as well as most of the towns around Lake Garda. The hotel had everything we needed - a fantastic breakfast, train / bus timetables, a beach across the road, a shop next door, a restaurant overlooking the Lake and fantastic staff. We would recommend a say there to anyone.

The hotel is in an excellent location. It's family run and the staff are pleasant. Desanzano and the lake are beautiful.During our stay we went to Verona and Venice, which are all quite close by train, fabulous! Try the restaurant next to the hotel - fresh home-made pasta and reasonable prices with great service (Desanzano is expensive)Enjoy your stay!

A pleasant location just across the road from the beach, we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The staff in the hotel were extremely helpful and had no trouble communicating in English. We arrived early but within half an hour they had our room ready for us. Despite this it was spotlessly clean. Well done Europa.

Ideal to visit the town and to enjoy the view on the lake. Not so interesting to spend vacation with kids, due to the presence of a road between the hotel and the beach. Very small beach facilitys. I would suggest the hotel for business, younger people without children.
