Hotel Walser - Courmayeur

An excellent location in Courmayeur, 2 minutes from the bus station and just off the main road. The room was clean and we had the fortune to have a fantastic view of the alps from our balcony. Courmayeur is fairly quiet in June but there were a reasonable number of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. We didn't try the hotel's restaurant. The breakfast, which was included, was disappointing. We only stayed for one night.

I may say that i used it just in transit and it's well located and easy to find. For what i saw around it , it's also well located to the sky area.

Stayed here for two nights, to check out the Courmayeur skiing. The hotel is obviously used by Crystal and is full of English families, but had a decent mix of nationalities. The staff were really friendly and helpful. It's located next to the main road, which doesn't make for a pleasant view, unless you gaze a little higher, in which case it's fantastic! We weren't troubled by any noise from the traffic. It's close enough to the lift to walk, but most people seemed to have sorted out lockers by the cable car, which seemed sensible as it's a bit further than is comfortable with ski boots on. We were surprised by how quiet Courmayeur was. We paid for B&B only, so went into town to eat and it was like a ghost town! Overall a pleasant, good value hotel that I'd be happy to recommend

The Hotel Walser was beautiful. The lobby was warm and welcoming, as was the staff. My room was simple and small, but spotless and quiet. I look forward to visiting again!

The staff was highly engaged in offering any support and were extremely kind. We have had problems with the motorbikes and the help was more than excellent and quick and inspiring. Excellent hotel, highly recommendable.

I was traveling with friends to visit the thermes of Pré Saint Didier . Very good hotel in a nice area

A very nice hotel, excellent value for money, clean and tidy rooms, and, above all, very helpful, polite and friendly staff, who was able to advise me about the Monte Bianco cable cars and about the Val d'Aosta in general. The location is perfect, particularly if you arrive by car (as I did), and the hotel is almost in the centre of Courmayeur. My only regret was that my stay at the Walser Hotel was limited to just one day.

The Walser was a lovely hotel in a beautiful little town. The staff were excellent. We arrived very late and they waited up for us, and they helped resolve many problems we encountered after our car was broken into the previous day. The rooms were nice, the view was fabulous, and it wasn't far from anything. I highly recommend the Walser.

Nice Hotel, but the walk to the lift station is a bit more than the 5 min's thats in the hotel information.

The setting of the Walser in this very picturesque village of Courmayeur is perfect, even if the hotel itself is very near a highway. Never did we hear any highway noise inside. The family running the Walser are extremely personable and interested in what you are doing and seeing. After a couple of days it felt like family. Don't hesitate to choose this hotel which feels like a huge Swiss ski lodge, with massive log construction, comfy sofas to relax in, in front of the fire. Everywhere you look, the stunning mountain views are almost touchable. A wonderful place to visit.
