We must ask for the reduction from Venere (4%). In the invoice they had forgotten it.

The hotel is a beautiful place with a great location. But there are two issues I want to point. First, the price that was announced in the website does not correspond with the ammount I paid. In the website they offered rooms for 60 euros, but when I confirmed my request, it said the price was 185 euros. Second, the air conditionate in the rooms is terrible. I had to open the window at night, because it was very hot inside. I called the front desk, but they said there was no way to modify the room temperature, because it was the same temperature for all the rooms.

The room is clean and well equipped. But it has stale smell because of bad ventilation. Space in the room is very limited.

Loved this hotel! Very convenient, quiet and comfortable, would highly recommend it.

Location is the greatest asset for this hotel which is right across from the Mezquita. It is well-located for visits to all of the sites of interest in Cordoba. Rooms were a bit small and Spartan, but were clean and well-maintained. Staff was helpful. Information led one to believe that breakfast was included (which it was not). One could not do much better for a one-night stay in Cordoba.

Very good location.Modern facilities. Extremely poor insulation against noise from other rooms, hallway and floor/ceiling. The never ending request for guest opinion is too much and quite annoying. However I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

an outstanding hotel for the price, ideally located directly opposite the mesquita. only drawback was that, in early March, the nightlife in the immediately surrounding area was very quiet. Plenty of bars and restaurants 10 - 15 minutes' walk away.

Good hotel, nice rooms and excellent location next to the cathedral and old town. But make sure you get a room looking to the street or the back of the building: rooms overlooking tiny inner yards can be very noisy with neighbours who shout and party in their room with their window opened till late at night. It sounded like we had the group of loud teenagers right in our room. We had to go down personaly to the reception at 11.30 PM after two unsuccessful calls untill the personal called them to close their window. In the shower, the hot water tap was not working properly and temperature kept on jumping from hot to freezing. This was not memded during our stay although we complained at the reception. A shame because otherwise this is a nice hotel as mentionned earlier. The breakfast buffet was varied and good.

The hotel was very nice. The only problem was, that the phone in the room did not work. Although I told the hotel staff what was the problem about three times, nobody came to fix it.

Highly recommended. The rooms and the surrounding are magnificent, so is the relation price/quality. By far the best hotel I stayed in during my trip and the cheapest of them all. The personnel is highly efficient and in 24 hours forwarded me items I had left back.

Great Location, Great Prices! Check out the ancient ruins under the glass floor downstairs. But make sure you have the valet staff park and unpark your car for you... It's a tight garage.

This hotel was in a wonderful position, right opposite The Mesquita. We had a lovely view of The Mesquita, but perhaps a room overlooking the inner courtyard would have been quieter. The service was good, but the dining room tables were very untidy due to being busy. Staff were not too helpful on that morning. The breakfast was reasonable. The position in the best thing about this hotel

We stayed in Cordoba for 2 days. The hotel was very well placed just opposite La Mezquita. The room was very spacious, definitely the most spacious out of the six 4 star-hotels we've been to in Spain. Our room had a lovely view of the hotel courtyard. Price-wise was abit more expensive than other hotels in Spain but still cheaper compared to hotels in Ireland.

This hotel was pleasant in all ways. Very centrally located, clean with a very pleasant staff. Always felt safe and the breakfast buffet was excellent. Plan to spend a little time in the garden area sipping a cool drink..very pleasant. Only thing I can think that would make this better is a "bit" more air conditioning. Good but I prefer cooler.

The view from the room was very nice. A bit noisy one night because of a mariage taking place in the hotel but nothing dramatic. The parking is very small and costs 12euros per night. A bit difficult to find with a car and all the one-way roads that do not match the map and the GPS. Overall a very good stay!

Hotel is in old city square across from the mosque-church. Our window opened out onto the wall of the mosque which is exquisite. The hotel even displays Roman ruins - although discreetly.

This hotel is value for money except the service is terrible. There was only one helpful staff there. I had to wait upto 45minutes at the reception desk before being seen to. It took 67minutes to be asked what I'd like to drink in the restaurant. So make sure you're not in a hurry if you decide to stay here!!

Rapporto qualità/prezzo davvero ottimo. Domandate una delle stanze con vista verso la strada, e direttamente dal vostro letto potrete ammirare le magnifiche mura della Mezquita! Mai dormito in una stanza così suggestiva!

It was a one-way to the hotel, and we had to go against the traffic to enter the hotel, and at first we didn't know we were allowed to do so. I'd have preferred if they'd told us this. In the end, we went to the information center and asked. The hotel's just big, nothing special.

Lucky I had to call the hotel the morning before our arrival 'cause they didn't have our reservation!! something went wrong in the web processing... and lucky they had rooms as it wasn't high season, I just had to forward them our email confirmation that showed everywhere "all confirmed". By the way, I opened a ticket in on the website where we made the reservation (not Venere) and never got any acknowledgement/ sorry note back ... Other than that the hotel and service was pretty much excellent for a great price :-)

My son (26) and I made our first trip to Spain and spent a couple days in Cordoba. The hotel was great... located in the middle of the historic district... a short walk to other areas. We walked from the train station. The room & lobby was clean and the service was excellent. If I go back... this will be the first place I check for reservations.

We had difficulty to find the place, as they sent us a map by fax to our Granada Hotel with indication from the opposite direction (Madrid?) we come from. (Granada is south from Cordoba). Everything else was really excellent, the Garage service, the rooms, the bathrooms clean and spacious.

Beautiful hotel in fantastic position if you want to see Cordoba generally and the Mezquite in particular. Delightful restaurant in a tranquil, romantic courtyard. Staff very knowledgable about local attractions, and happy to make reservations. At the Venere price we paid, I cannot recommend it highly enough.

The staff and attitudes let the hotel down badly. The road outside was closed (not the hotel's fault) however this made the car park impossible to use and there was no plan in place to help us, their paying clients . A German couple had called the night before to be told that yes there was a car-park - they were even less impressed than me. The staff had no alternatives to offer, no idea where we could park and couldn't care less. They couldn't even offer a decent map of Cordoba to help us find a car park. In the end we drove around for an hour and found a 24 hour place the other side of town (1hour walk back in the 42C heat, and I am pregnant !)which also cost us additional money and wasted a huge amount of our time. It was very badly handled and a real nuisance as one of the key reasons we chose this hotel was its location AND having a car park !! They obviously had not bothered to inform Venere.com either ...very poor and the attitude of the staff was to refuse to help. I travel a huge amount and was horrified that they had no alternative arranged with the council, or a car park or another hotel. Roads are not just dug up on the spur of the moment, and it had obviously been going on for a while and yet nothing had been thought about. The restaurant staff had a similar attitude and we were lucky that we were served for dinner, albeit very slowly, although we did see other people walk out of the restaurant as they had been ignored. It was very strange : very unhappy staff who aren't interested and not serving you is not what you expect from a 4 star property. It is such a shame as the location is wonderful, right next to the Mezquite and the hotel rooms were immaculate and lovely. It's obviously a very unhappy place to work and the management don't seem to inform their staff and they certainly don't try and solve problems !! I would not recommend the hotel again and strongly advise your contracting team to check the hotel and facilities and attitudes out !! (

Major road works were taking place at the time of our visit, right outside the hotel, but it didn't affect our stay. The rooms are clean and airy and the hotel is perfectly located!

It was unfortunate that for the period of our stay extensive, and very noisy, work was being done on the main road outside, which was difficult for everyone getting in or out of the hotel. However, the double-glazing in our room was extremely effective, and we didn't seem to hear the din when we sat in the lovely garden area in the afternoon. This was our second stay - and we'll go again. And what a fantastic location - looking out of our room at the wall of the mesquita. Magical at night-time!

First class hotel in wonderful location across from the Mezquita. Our room (2001) overlooked the street where Semana Santa processions passed. Fantastic! Easy walking distance to many attractions, shopping and restaurants.
