HOTEL OVERVIEW

Hotel Abetos del Maestre-Escuela Cordoba - Venere.com hotel outside The hotel is located in a very quiet place, near the mountains that surround Cordoba. It is far from the noise of the city centre and close to the pure air and calmness of nature. The area of monuments is 12 min. far by car. If you decide not to take the car into town, the best choice is the taxi, since bus stop is too far. Anyway, as soon as you arrive at the hotel, we will provide you with a map of Cordoba, and then you will check how easy you can get to the monumental zone. The hotel is specially designed for having a nice rest after a hard tourist day.

At the Café we serve the Continental Breakfasts ( 466 per person), and the typical Spanish TAPEO, similar to "Snack". There is also a restaurant where we serve excellent Mediterranean Cuisine, á la carte or menu of the day ( 1262 per person, brewery not included). You can taste regional dishes, as "Salmorejo Cordobés" (Tasty cold soup of vegetables, garlic and bread crumbs), Rabo de Toro and the well known PAELLA.

All our rooms have complete bathroom, telephone, T.V., Aerial, Mini bar (if previously required), Air Conditioning, etc.

noisy, not from traffic ostside, the hotel is well away from any, but from inside, every thing going on in the building seems to resonate throughout. overall not quite worth 4 stars in my view. best bit is location, beautiful terrace to spend evenings with drinks etc.

Accommodation was very nice as far the position of the property and its' surroundings. We were not impressed with the facilities for meals nor with the service for these. It was difficult to get refreshments on arrival (daytime) and service was poor. Breakfast was disappointing and service was bad and unwelcoming. This was a pity as it could have been so much better. I apologise for the long delay in replying - my husband has been in and out of hospital since our visit. A friend accompanied us on our visit.

HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL

ACCESS
From Madrid : Leave the highway MADRID N-IV at the exit km. 399 to BADAJOZ. You are now on a short highway to Badajoz, leave it immediately at the exit to CORDOBA (norte). You will be on a two miles road which leads you to a roundabout where you have to turn right into an industrial area called CHINALES. Drive till the end of this area and turn right. You are now on 1.5 miles road which takes you to a roundabout. Turn right and drive up the road. The hotel is at the end of a hill on your left.

From Sevilla, Málaga, Granada o Cádiz to Hotel: You must take the City Centre indications you will pass near Hotel Melia and when you arrive at the end of this avenue turn to your right In this new avenue you will see in your left the Corte Ingles Comercial Center, at the end of this avenue turn to your left and you will take the Brillante avenue, you must turn to your right when you see the Parque Forestal Los Villares indicator and after you must to follow the Hotel Indicators. or go on to Madrid and follow the last indications.
