This was our favorite place to stay over the course of a 12 day touring trip. We spent 3 nights. The view from the balcony was superb. The beds were very comfortable with nice linens. The on-site restaurant was fabulous as well. Kudos all around.

If you are planning on spending time within Como and you don't have a car, then this hotel is about a 10 euro cab ride into town...you make that a few times and it may get expensive, so either have a car or stay closer into town. Our balcony was right on the lake though - great views and everything was very clean.

we arrived and were shown to the worst room in the house. my wife objected and we were shown a room for 105 euro more,and told nothing else was available.we took this room. its decor was very nice, however the bathroom was situated so that a midget couldnt stand in the shower. this hotel is magnificiently located, but performs more extractions than most dentists

I would definately stay here again even though it is very much off the path of the Riviera. The family is charming and I can't say enough about it to tell you how good this place is.

Only one flaw - dinner was not available in the room, although the kitchen kindly provided sandwiches and dessert when my girlfriend wasn't feeling well. Breakfast in the room wasn't very hot! Otherwise a beautiful grand-villa-style hotel. Fantastic outlook and a short-ish walk to Como.

Apart from a mistake on the website of the hotel which resulted in us receiving a double room for the price of a single, the hotel is first class and has all the amenities associated with that rating. However, we thought that the hotel was in Como and not 15 minutes outside and as the hotel could not provide bus tickets, we had to taxi into Como. The hotel in our view should either have a courtesy service to Como or bus tickets available. On leaving the hotel, we were given the wrong information regarding the bus transfer to Malpensa Airport which the hotel blamed on the bus company's website. We feel the hotel should ensure it has up to date information. However, despite this, should we ever return to the area, we would not hesitate to stay there again.

We loved the location, the view was fabulous, the rooms were spacious and lovely. The breakfast out by the water was breathtaking. We will definately go back there. The price is worth every Euro.

I had requested a nice room for my parents Golden wedding .They were given the best room in the Hotel.We ate at the hotel restaurant-the food was fabulous,highly recommended.We were not at all disappointed with the service,rooms and views (the only negative was the spiders webs on the balconies but at least there were no flies!)

Gorgeous setting on the lake, and a bit away from town. Very nice property. Service adequate, but not welcoming. Very few smiles from employees, nothing volunteered.

The hotel has a private carpark within its premises. The problem is that they charge 17 Euros/day of car parking which is absolutely outrageous when paying well over 200 Euros/night for a room! I do not recommend this hotel.

All details were good. It would have been helpful if the hotel's close proxmity to the busy road had been indicated on the review. The hotel was situated on the road which did mean there was quite a bit of noise when trying to relax on the balcony. Otherwise the hotel and restaurant were excellent.
