Very nice place with friendly and cool owners. Apple Notebooks and WLAN meet 19th century interiors and furniture. They have a 50 year old FAEMA coffe-machine looking like a spaceship, which makes excellent coffee. Overall: nice, quiet and clean, owners are always ready to help with recommendations for sightseeing, dining, shopping etc.

My full name is: Ilan Braschinsky, Israel (not as written). Very nice place. Wonderful location. If you are short of time, take a bus (about 1 Euro), to the caste location, or you have to park you car on hourly bases payment near the castle. By feet it takes about 20-25 minutes. The hotel is excellent, very recommended + the buffet breakfast is very good (included in the room price), was a good surprise for us. Very recommended to book the place couple of months ahead!!! Probably no more place in this summer 2008, till September!!!

Great off-season rate. Owners very helpful (also Monica). Beautiful setting, with great patios on every level. Best breakfast buffet we had in all of Italy (warm eggs & meat). Beautiful walk into Sirmione along peninsula road. Colombare's shopping nearby. VERY affordable room service. GO THERE!

Owner very friendly and helpful on travel information. Room was spacious with a fully equipped kitchenette. Located on the main street of the town, about 7 min walk from train station. Overall very nice stay. The only backdraw is that hot water was not enough for all guests to take shower at once.

Excellent! Was looking for a cheap, clean place to stay as a base to travel the area and this lovely little 3-star did the job. Really close to some lovely restaurants, and not a far walk to Sirmione - a tourist hub from which we travelled around the lake, and took a quick bus to Verona for the afternoon.
Staff were WONDERFUL, tried very hard and were very welcoming. Can't be any more enthusiastic about this place!

Cute little B&B, our room was adequately clean, bed was comfortable.
Hotel Surroundings are quiet, and the breakfast was nice- Eggs, Toast, Sausages, Yogurt, Cereals, Coffee, Milk and Juices.
Hotel is conveniently located a walking distance from Sirmione Old City (less than 2 KM and traffic isn’t allowed in the Old city, which is quite a task to navigate through by car).
Also Hotel is located nearby to a few restaurants, one of which we tried and enjoyed immensely- Malibu (Pizzeria/Restaurant).

We stayed for one night in Vila Clodia( triple room). The room was large, spacious and very clean. Same the bathroom.
Exceptionally welcoming staff, beautiful place(lake Garda). It is very easy o find Vila Clodia-50 m left from the main road ( direction Scaligero Castle)
Thank you

We had reserved a quadruple room. It was a surprise that there was a bunk bed for children not 4 seperate beds. The upper bed was not safe, so we put the mattress to the floor. The room was not spacious enough for 4 persons (2 adults and 2 school aged children).
Breakfast was good and it was easy to come with a car.

Hotel Clodia is a pleasant hotel, close to good restarants and to a nice lake-side walk.
Service is good and breakfast outstanding. Rooms are not the quietest, especially if you stay on the ground floor.

Very pleasant hotel in good, quiet position, with excellent views. Room was spacious with shower (only a curtain, not screen)room. Very clean. Not enough hangers as usual. Not much English spoken, but staff and owners were very nice and helped as much as they could. Receptionist competently mended out shower! Breakfast was usual continental, but tea was not English! Take your own tea bags. Would definitely recommend it as value for money. Very close to excellent bus service and 20/30 minute walk to Sirmione. Situated near the centre, but not close enough to be too busy and noisy. Restaurant opposite (pizzeria) is excellent with good prices.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Clodia. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Clodia is well placed to visit local areas. It was our first visit to Lake Garda, but would highly recommend Sermione as an ideal base. We stayed for the weekend, and saw as much as we could, but plan to return as there is much more in this pretty area to see, and do.

The Clodia hotel is about a 30 minute walk from Sirmione but there are buses if required. We called at a local hotel for a street map on arrival by boat and had no trouble finding it. The hotel is in a quite area, very pretty and clean. Our room was not large but adequate for what we wanted. The breakfasts were very good with lovely fresh bread and a nice coffee machine. We found the staff very friendly. All in all, a very pleasent stay.

A quaint place in a lush setting, right off the main street, not far from the lake from either side. Tip: Someone suggested I take mesquito repellent to Lake Garda and it was good I had it because with all the water and green there were mesquitos outside (all over) and a few got in the room. Overall, a wonderful experience and we'd stay there again.

My wife and I found the hotel to to be every thing we had expected. The rooms were always kept clean, the service was friendly and unobtrusive. The continental style breakfast was excellent and plentiful. My only minor criticism was that for a driver not used to Italian roads the directions to the hotel could have been a little clearer

A beautiful hotel where the owners treat you like part of the family. Although some distance away from the centre of Sirmione (you can catch a bus at €2) the hotel is well placed for travelling around Lake Garda.

Hotel Clodia was only a 20 minute walk away from where the ferry drops you in Sirmione.. It was in a quiet part of the the town and close to lots of nice restaurants. The Couple who owned it couldn't have been more friendy and helpful and it felt really italian... best of all - no SAGA TOURS!!!! There was not a great lake view, but for the price and standard of the rooms you couldn't beat it!

Our room had a balcony the size of our spacious room. A perfect room with a nice view and awesome balcony. Hotel is in a nice location where you can walk to anything you need in this town, including the shuttle boats. You may want to request the balcony, as I think there may have only been a few rooms with it. We didnt ask for it, but it was an excellent place to wind down at the end of the day as the sun went down.
Nice staff, spoke perfect english, and was very nice. Highly recommended hotel.

I thought the hotel staff was very nice and helpful. They gave us maps of the town and directions to help us get around. The rooms were nice and the price wasn't too expensive. I would like to stay there again. Our bathroom was really cool (room 6)!

Excellent hotel about a 30 minute walk into town. You can drive and park for about 1.90 euro per hour. Hotel staff were great and the breakfast was very good as well. We had a large room with a balcony overlooking the garden. Will stay here again.

The fact that we had made reservations for two nights and stayed for four nights says it all. We highly rate the hotel as a base point for touring the Lake Garda area, Verona, Mantua and Brescia. The Operators are working diligently to provide for their guests. Jay & Dolores jarrell.

During my tour around Italy I stayed in 6 hotels located in different regions of the country and varying from 2* to 4*, and among them Clodia was the best one. Perfectly arranged room added a lot of home comfort to our voyage, and the signorina at the reception was more than friendly and helpful. She would always give us precise and detailed answer on any question regarding travelling around the lake itself or the nearby tourist locations like Verona or Venice. Very satisfactory breakfast, no problems with parking, quiet surroundings. One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at.

It was one of the more expensive hotels that I've booked, but it was very nice. The quality of everything at the hotel was great. The staff was friendly. It's in a beautiful location. For the location, the price is reasonable. We got a flat tire, and the owner helped us get in touch with a repair shop, which was very helpful. We had a wonderful stay here. Beautiful hotel!

We would definitely return to this charming hotel. The staff although not totally English speaking were very accomodating and friendly. The breakfast was very nice. We loved our room and the patio attached with a lookout over the lake. Room was very nice and clean. Very adequate space wise. It was a charming small hotel. Will be back!

This hotel is really nice. Nevertheless, Sirmione center is 2km far from the hotel and their are some insects that make a lot of noise but do not bite (their is some product against insects at the reception if needed)
Difficult to find less expensive in sommer in Sirmione and the landscape is nice.
